Exceptional food, authentic experience and pleasant atmosphere. Finding a table during peak hour is a lucky event, be sure to make a reservation. Not for the most refined visitors - no air conditioning nor ventilation :)

Me and my friend had lunch there on Friday like 3 weeks ago or so. I read good stuff on the Internet about the place so I had expectations, and I wasn't disappointed the food was great and even reminded me home P: (I live in Israel so you can easily get here this kind of food). oh and the... More

My partner and I visited this place with high expectations given the excellent reviews. However, we came away disappointed. The place has the informal setting of a cafe, but prices like a sit down restaurant. It's evident that Beirut started life as a hole in the wall with a few seats, expanded to be a hole in the wall with... More

I love middle eastern food, and it was pleasant surprise to find good quality halal food in Germany. Excellent service, great authentic Lebanese food. Lentil soup is the best, so is baklavah!

Being a European Muslim, good quality halal food tends to be difficult to find. Especially when you’re your visiting a new country for the first time with your child and a work colleague. So when a trip advisor returned a halal restaurant as a top 20 restaurant, I was keen to pay it a visit. Beirut was busy on a... More

Small place, can be very packed (and noisy). Good quality food, the 26eu menu is strongly suggested, as the best way to taste their cold/hot cuisine. Booking is recommended.

when i'm homesick for a decent tabboule this is where i go if u're in the mood to experiment with lebanese food i recommend their menu which serves a selection of warm and cold meza (lebanese tapas) if not u can always opt for the classic sheesh tawook or grilled platters! dnt forget to try arak (lebanese alcohol) or ask... Yes, the service is brusque, but also quick and efficient. Keep in mind that this is a very small place that fills up quickly and functions at a hectic pace, plus they do a parallel takeout "kiosk," so it gets really busy. Most importantly, the food is delicious, freshly prepared and super-filling. Although we were careful to order only one... More

We found this little place tucked away on Buttermarkt, easily missed by most, I would assume. The service was good all night, and upon enquiring about a table, we were asked to wait a moment whilst one was prepared. This was a Wednesday night at about 8pm, and it was heaving. A sign of quality, I always say. I would... More
