My wife and I found this pub located in central Bonn, beautifully decorated for Christmas and very inviting. The food was tasty which we washed down with some great beers brewed onsite. A starter, main and beer for a couple came to around €45 for both of us which is a bargain. Only downside was that a group who had... More

We thought this restaurant was very good. Food was tasty and nicely served. All typical German dishes were available. We has Spätzle and Sauerbraten .....all very good. Nicely located near XMAS market and parking.

We walked in, this lady told us to go down stairs but just after we bumped into another waiter who told us to sit in a nearby table. So we did. After a few minutes the lady comes to our table and orders us to go down. We explained that it was her colleague who told us we could sit.... More

We've just finished eating here, and I have to say the food is fantastic. No namby pamby fine dining small portions. Just good warming well cooked food. Loads of choices from salads to stews. Highly recommend this place, we had a German mixed grill and a beef goulash. There is a strong possibility we will be eating here tomorrow as... More

My fiancé and I stopped into the Brauhaus for a couple beers and some pretzels after a day of shopping. The Kolsch style beer was amazing and the pretzels were very tasty. The best part though is the prices are very reasonable (2 euro for a mug of beer). I was expecting to pay more given the tourist trap potential.... More

I've been here to eat something great. Food was great but I felt strange because: 1, during my eating the main waitress pushed/moved my table away and separated from the table next to me. But asked nothing just did it while the fork was in my mouth!!!! Pushed the table almost half meter away while I ate! After this nobody... More

A traditional German brewery and restaurant, with their own beer (of course) served in a funny glass that perfectly fits into your hand. Be prepared for enormous portions, especially if you go for the Haxe (pork knuckles). If you have just one night in Bonn, have your dinner here...

Really tipical German restaurant. Good food and nice place, in the earth of the city. Suitable for a dinner with friends or just for a drink. Don't forget to try the Kölsch beer!

Been here for Dinner - Had Pork Knuckles, traditional pancakes with homemade plum jam and around 5-6 pints of locally crafted beers The Service is very good - if you book, would be good to choose the basement floor where the staff is a bit less busy and can attend you folks The food is traditional and loved the flavour... I went for dinner and the place for very busy. It is important to book in advance. The beer is very good, light but tasty. The food is good and the portion is generous. It's definitely a typical German pub worth visiting. Staff is nice and polite but the service is a bit on the slow side. The price is... More
