They have some very good local beer, which is something you cannot miss. The food was good as well, fair variety, but big on taste. Had the Bonsch burger and gulped it down with local beer. Happy!

“Knusprig gegrillte Schweinshaxe” is the ankle of a pig, grilled crispy and basted with beer sauce mixed with honey. It is served with sauerkraut and mashed potatoes. Naturally, a couple of the house’s own beers go along very well. The meet becomes very tender and tasty. Afterwards you can say that you had something local, not anything that you’ll find... More

It looks similar like several other breweries in cologne. The ambience is typical and servers too. I heard though as a typical and best brewery in Bonn.

Visited as part of a pub tour so did have stay as long as I would have liked. The local brew is not brewed on the the premises any more but the brewing vessels can still be viewed. In its day when Bonn was the capital of Germany many notable politicians visited as evidenced by the photos on the wall.... More

We spent one night in Bonn and this was our dinner stop. Most restaurants seemed pretty packed on this Friday night. It was really nice weather, and we saw a few empty spots in the outdoor seating area, so we decided to stop, sitting at the end of a table that held three younger people enjoying a few beers. That... The Boennsch is always worth a visit. They have the local brewed Boennsch and always a sesaonal variation. The food is also good German food, the size is big so you won't leave the Boennsch hungry. The service was super nice, friendly and quick. It's totally worth going to the Boennsch Brewery

Brauhaus Bonnsch is a very busy typical german brauhaus. The brew their own beer which is really delicious! Try also their Hexenkrauter! The food is very good and tasty. And a very good price/quality.

If you like traditional German food and good home brewed beer then I recommend this place. I went on a Friday night with my wife and son in a nice Summer's evening and throughly enjoyed the food, beer and service.
