This restaurant is a true "gem" and is a must visit for a great dining experience! Great atmosphere and great German food well prepared and very tasty! Our order of ribs arrived promptly and the meat just fell away from the bones ( as it should!) and sauce and accompanying potatoes just added to the meal. We sat in the... More

It took me a while until I found this restaurant. A small house, hidden from the rest of the houses, but boy what an amazing place to eat. The decoration, the dishes, everything is perfect. The food is not cheap, but not very expensive either (about 14Euro per dish), but I received a meal with large portion of what I... More

Traditional north German fare. Never had a bad meal here. Can be crowded at lunch. Has a nice beer garden in the interior. Beer is ice cold!

It is often that German food is categorized as monotone... This restaurant is the living proof that even simple things, finely cooked with a lot of heart, are delicious...top place

A really enjoyable meal out in a lovely atmosphere with a nice cosy pub feeling. Sat at the bar to eat our spargiel, potatoes and pork schnitzel. Loved watching the hard working and friendly staff

Cozy ambience with Rathskeller feel. The mixed grill plate (steak, pork, turkey, brat and bacon) complemented with potatoes was tasty and obviously filling. Pils poured well but save thirst for the Prince kirsch.

Place is savage cabbage.. Mix grill beef turkey pork, bacon, sausage and just about every other type meat known to man.. Good portions of spuds with it... Partner had bowl of soup with meat my god so much meat in the bowl.. Its hidden little gem well worth the hunt to look for. Will not be disappointed.

The atmosphere is really nice. The style of the restaurent is german old fashion. Service is good. Unfortunately the food is not as expected. I ordered fried potatoes and special prepared meat. I got INSTANT not fried potatoes and canned meat.

Local Food, a good beer, a cosy Athmosphere and a fair price! If possible, take a seat in the Garden. Reservation is recommended
