Doing the Christmas markets around Germany and spent a couple nights in Wiesbaden. Having had just about enough of German food after this long trip we went just across the street and around the corner from our hotel, the Mercure. Service here was great as...was the food, shrimp Pad Thai.More
I was in Wiesbaden for work and decided on Thai food for dinner. The service was excellent - quick, attentive, accommodated my lack of German! The spring rolls were crispy on the outside as they should be, and the flavors inside blended well with the...sweet sauce. Massaman curry with chicken was one of the best I’ve had! Just the right amount of spice, tons of chicken, and the potatoes and onions were cooked to perfection. Definitely on my list for the next time I come to town!More

Every time we visit Wiesbaden we crave this restaurant. The food is dynamic and seems to be so fresh all the time with all the right spices. Staff is always accommodating. Truly enjoy this place.

This was my first visit to Wiesbaden, and subsequently Thai Banyan (found on TA). The restaurant was really nice inside, but be prepared to park in one of the nearby parking garages, as this restaurant doesn’t have its own parking. The staff were pretty friendly....I ordered the vegetable spring rolls as an appetizer. Overall, they were pretty good, and they came out piping hot with a delicious sweet and sour sauce. For me, the spring rolls had a bit too much glass noodles, but still good. For the entree, I had the green curry chicken with vegetables (my go-to dish for comparing Thai restaurants). The curry was very good, but it seemed to be missing a little spice (perhaps salt or basil or more curry). The portion size was big and had plenty for dinner plus leftovers for lunch. Not the best green curry I’ve ever had (across Europe and the US), but pretty solid Thai food. I’d recommend you try it. I’d definitely go back.More

In Thai Banyan I had duck in cream souce. Duck was perfectly cooked, vegetables also. Souce extremely delicious (with some curcuma in it). Staff was kind and service very fast. I would recommend Thai Banyan to every Thai food lover.
We tried out Thai Banyan last night with friends and loved it! Each of our dishes was delicious—2 duck dishes (green curry and Thai Banyan duck) and 2 noodle dishes. Our noodle dishes were with prawns, which can be hit or miss at a lot...of places. Thai Banyan’s prawns were amazing! We both had 7 huge, perfectly cooked prawns in our dishes. I would give the restaurant 5 stars except for the fact that our waitress seemed very annoyed and impatient. All of the other staff seemed helpful, but our waitress just seemed irritated. But the food was delicious (I’m still thinking about those prawns 24 hrs later), and we’ll definitely be back!More
We eat with six and the staff was very friendly and the food was good. It is not a big place but a good atmosphere and reasonable pricing.

I had read about Thai Banyan on Tridadvisor, and wanted to try it for lunch. The food is so good, and the staff so professional and helpful, that this became a regular lunch spot. Unreserved recommendation!
