The title sums it pretty well, but to add a bit more, I have had a habit of enjoying handkäse for the starter, Frankfurter schnitzel for the main course, and a mispelchen for the dessert, and I have enjoyed the most having this combo in...Ebbelwoi Unser. The Frankfurter schnitzel is huge (be prepared), tastes great and comes with two sauces (white and green). I wash the food down with either beer or (a bembel of) apfelwein and sparkling water.More

I travelled here on business and we were looking for some authentic German food. We chose based on TripAdvisor ratings and were disappointed. We got there at opening on a week night. There were exactly two people in the whole place, but we were told...there were reservations and it would be an hour. We weren’t going to wait and the owner then said that he could somehow squeeze us into his empty restaurant. We ate our entire meal and no one else came in. Weird. The food was ok. We all had schnitzel but were kind of wanting brats. It’s cash only. For a 70 something euro meal I gave him 100 and he asked if he should keep it for tip. I said no.More

So first for clarification. We were fully booked that night from 7 p.m. You came at 5 p.m. and we offered you a table for two hours and not just for one hour as you wrote it. Our restaurant was after 7 p.m., but you...More

We had made a reservation, but when we arrived, the manager told us we had to wait. We told them that if they didnt had an available table they should have told us so that we could made a reservation somewhere else. He waa very...rude and told us that if we dont like it we can leave. I don't recommend it.More

Very busy, very friendly and engaging staff and clientele. German people all around us were very warm, fun, helpful. There was a staff member who entertained us with a few comical songs that had the crowd alive and participating. The portions are huge. The apple...dessert was our favorite. Schnitzel and meatball were both very eye pleasing but lacked flavor and seasoning.More

.....went as guests of our German company to this atmospheric restaurant. The ambiance, staff (especially the MoC), and food was superb - it was the Christmas goose dinner - with plenty of Ebbelwoi and other drinks!! All the visitors from the UK had a great...time, as did our German hosts and enjoyed the local food and alcohol!! A Christmas dinner to remember for sure!More

This was the first restaurant I've ever eaten at in Germany and I'm so lucky that this was my first experience. The food and dessert were absolutely amazing! One of the owners (Alex) was having dinner right behind us and came over to make sure...that we were enjoying our meal. My boyfriend jokingly said that he didn't know that German sausages came with metal clamps and casing (he's very English if you can't tell) and that he must have ingested one. Without skipping a beat, Alex brought us two of the most expensive brandys on the menu to make up for it (even though it was my boyfriend's fault, not the restaurants haha). As we were about to pay I had a conversation with Alex and Adin (the other owner) and they taught me some German phrases. Alex even called over another German restaurant go-er for me to practice my newly learned skills with! Even though the food was amazing beyond belief, we find ourselves talking more about the wonderful service at this restaurant which is unlike any other I've been to. If you haven't been to Germany before and really want to immerse yourself in the culture, this is the perfect place for you xxMore

Good authentic German food at a fair price. CASH ONLY do bring Euros. Make a reservation but know it is shared tables. Good fun nonetheless. While you don't need to tip in Germany as it is included, the owner tried to get us to tip....I did because I liked the service and had a nice time. And it was business related. That said, I sensed an attempt to prey on tourists. Probably works. At least we got two shots for our tip (actually offered prior to our tip). Have fun.More

I chose the restaurant for a casual business dinner to show my Dutch and Australian colleagues a part of German food culture. We arrived 15 minutes late for our table reservation and found a packed place with no room to breeze. My fear that we...ended up in a tourist trap vanished when the manager received us, apologized and within 20 seconds made sure we had a drink in hands at the bar... GREAT! 5 Minutes later we were sitting at one of the long tables to enjoy the next drink (switched to beer: you really need to like Ebblewoi (apple wine)). Whilst the menu suited most of us, be aware that the offer is not ideal for Vegetarians or (as we had one in the group) Pescatarians (Fish). Food was for all of us very good although- as expected for German food: rather heavy. But then also very tasty! At this time of the year they also serve Goose which looked promising - you will however need to order before arriving. SERVICE:the Waiters were quick and very friendly and took excellent care of us.Received a last shot 'on the house' with the bill. When leaving the manager made sure we we had a good evening and helped us to get a taxi. All pro-active and with lots of genuine care. All in all we had a great (loud) and very Gemütlichen German evening. To be repeated!More

Food was amazing, the price almost as good as the food. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Only thing to remember is that the place is cash only. However there is a cash machine about 5 min walk away.
