I’ve never had such a horrendous experience abroad. Travelled for a conference in the city, stayed at the hotel across the road. My partner popped in for a beer alone the night before. Second time I joined him for the football. The waitress shortchanged us...and he asked her to double check. After speaking to the manager he got offended and said we were lying. I said you have cameras go and look. It wasn’t the money it was the principle of being called a liar. Next thing 6 police officers come marching in from the station next door. We got man handled out and I asked why we were being harassed instead of asking what had happened. Instead of an apology and our money back we got told there’s nothing they can do. I was fuming. Never again! Hope they lose everything. Not got a clue about customer service.More

I recently visited here with a friend for a drink. It is at the main railway station, and just across from our hotel, the Frankfurter Hof. it is ok, but not really anything special. I had no complaints about our visit, but id didn't blow...my socks off. However, if you are just looking for somewhere to have a quiet drink, or a meal, then it is fine for that. There are also large screens showing live football events, so it might just meet your needs.More

This bar is near our hotel so we stopped in. It has loads of tv screens and is very relaxed. We opted for Pina Colada cocktails. They were Euros 7.50 each and of good size. They tasted delicious! We could have happily sat there all...night but had a dinner booking elsewhere. Great place to relax.More

I went here to watch the football and waited a long time to be served twice. I gave up before ordering food and went somewhere else.

If you want quick & tasty food with cheap beer go to Sams. In the corner location of Hauptbahnhof it offers excellent service for the weary travellers.

Excellent service. Great Guinness (not as pint sized as the Irish pints) good was very enjoyable and the euros were shown on screen inside and out.

The food here is good, decent burgers, etc. Nothing Gourmet going on here though. The food and drinks are relatively well priced. The staff can sometimes get overworked and in large parts it is hard to get an eyeline to the bar, where the staff...usually hang out, so it can be frustrating to get service. Having said that, I haven´t had a bad experience and I keep going back.More

We got drinks here and they were reasonably priced, but took a very long time to arrive. Also it was a disappointment that a 'Sportsbar' was showing the highlights of the days football matches as opposed to a live rugby world cup match.

Sat. 4 July, Sam's Sports Bar website advertised that they would be showing the Female World Cup Semi Final. We arrived at the Grueneburgweg location to be told by the Bar Man ..."he would telephone his Supervisor to inquire if the Female World Cup Semi...Final would be shown", so in the mean time we ordered drinks, 2 beers and 2 Proseccos. After some time the beers arrived, but we were informed by the Waiter that they didn't have any chilled Prosecco. We ordered 2 white wines. After a short time the Waiter returned with the information that they didn't have any chilled white wine and they wouldn't be showing the Female World Cup Semi Final!! Sorry but you advertise your company as a SPORTS.....BAR.....?!?!?!?!?!More
