Every time I visit Frankfurt, this is a must Place. Easily the best Schweinshaxe ever. Hope I spelled that right. Anyway, the holy trinity of pork, sauerkraut and beer takes you to geraman heaven. You don't have to worry about the size of the dish. It is far enought to anyone but still not like some idiotic food challenge. Everything... More

We went to the "Bock" for a social company function and ended up having the most fantastic meal and evening ever. A real gem in Sachsenhausen with the best German food served in a traditional way and cooked to perfection.

While walking along in Sachsenhausen we stopped here for drinks and a bite to eat. We had some beer. I wish they had a little more choice of draft beer, they had only 3 options. We had some sausages with sauerkraut which was nice. We noticed a group of people at the next table had ordered a whole Veal shoulder,... More

If you're looking for a place to experience German food, this is the place to go. It looks a little plain and dark outside but the inside of the restaurant was a big surprise! It was warm, cozy and bright! We enjoyed the goulash soup and the shnitzel, we skipped the pork knuckle as I've tried that at Zum Storck... More

This restaurant has seen its better days. We have been going there for over 15 years and you can see the decline in the restaurant and the area in general Food is OK - it was better - service is OK - was better- price is very reasonable

This is a family run restaurant and, it is also very busy the time of year I visited. My family booked our table several months before our visit. Given the time of year goose was the main event on the tables, and I was told by my family it certainly was cooked to perfection. I had a steak instead of... More

We got food in 15 mins, but our child, had to wait a long time for her salmon which she never got, because after coming several times and promising couple of more minutes, after 45 mins they came and said, that they have forgoten it (how??? With all those promises) and it's gonna take 15 mins more... So total to... More

The traditional restaurant where to try this speciality of german cuisine and tradition. The atmosphere is very friendly, pub style with big wooden tables, you can see the pictures, very loud and full of businessmen eating and drinking beers. Plate was good as well as the traditional beer. Service a little bit slow

We visited the place a group of 8 friends. The restaurant is a big space attended by groups. It wasn't full at the moment we went there (two tables next to us empty). They served the starters and drinks quickly and nicely. But when it came to the main course, they brought in one dish. About 7-10 minutes later another... More
