Group of 6 people, table is traditional bench in wood. Each of us took a different dish and we were all served at the same time. Escalope was very good (home special) with the green sauce, the salad amazing and the daily survival (liver with apricots marmalade) was very French!

Came here with friends, actually many times, never disappointed, really good kitchen, rich in flavor, similar food can be found in many German restaurants like apfelwein places, but with a bit upscale touch and sophisticated taste :-) Most important is the dessert menu, basically order all of them and share, all very very yummy!

We were craving for that simple German sausage dinner and we're glad we found this place. The Vienna and Austrian sausages were delicious together with the sauerkraut! I loved the liver meatballs in beef broth and the service was friendly too!

Amazing food. Goat cheese was really amazing, and their special dish (escalope) was really really good. We reach their before we know the trip advisor rating, but as usual it was really up to the rating they have.

We wanted Schnitzel on our last night in Germany and staying at the airport this wasn't going to cut it. So, we checked Tripadvisor and found this gem. I had the veal schnitzel and it was wonderful. Perfectly cooked with a couple of great sides and a salad. Best one on our 3 week trip. If I am ever back... More

This is one of several restaurants and cafes right around the corner from the Goethe Hais. Solid selection of German/Austrian food, with choices for big/small portions - it's a great place to go no matter how hungry (or not) you are. The Wiener Schnitzel and Fried boneless Chicken are both very good, drinks and beer are good, solid choice!

While the schnitzel here might not compare to what you'll find in Austria, for Frankfurt I found this to be quite outstanding. Plus the service (particularly from the bartender-waiters) was friendly, good for travelling alone. The schnitzel comes in different sizes, so you can decide how overwhelmed you want to be. The cranberry sauce was tasty. Was told to save... More

The Salzkammer restaurant is an authentic Austrian restaurant from the inside out (owner is Austrian) and the kitchen of course. The portions are very well and the food was 100% fresh. I had a Leberknedelsoup, Wiener schnitzel and some kaiserschmarrn. All of it was plenty but so delicious I had to finish and eat till the end. Service was on... More

Decent sausage starter, main was ok. Wouldn't take a reservation through their website, but were fine to take one the morning of the booking.

Good service. Good appetizers and decent veal schnitzel. Not very fancy but typical local food. .... Not my favorite as mostly fried but this is it.
