Been coming here with colleagues and friends over 8yrs. Salads and food, are well presented and tasty. Diverse choice from starters, through to desert. Love the choice of starters, and bread. Well priced, and easy drinks list. Staff, always been friendly, and helpfull. Its just a simple clean, bistro style type of restaurant, with local customers, from various nations, looking... More

As we live nearby, we come here every once in a while and not once did we leave disappointed. First of all, their ayran is the best I've had. Food is amazing and the waiter is always there to recommend something that is especially good that day. Portions are big, like in every Turkish restaurant, prices are reasonable. I don't... More

I have eaten at Gundi three times during the last five years during visits to Frankfurt. I can honestly say that I have not had a bad experience here during these visits. On my most recent visit I ordered the lamb chops which were excellent. Others in our party ordered the Frikadelle and the mixed plate with about six different... More

We were three adults, a toddler, and a month-old baby in a kinderwagen who sat first at an outdoor table. Then the wasps*, which look like North American bees, zeroed in on us. So, we moved inside. No more wasps, hooray! The atmosphere inside was very upscale with tables and booths. Our server was very attentive and patient, even though... More

I have been a frequent customer here since arriving to the neighborhood. Their pide (Turkish pizzas) are simply the best I've had and it takes a lot of restraint to order anything else on the menu. Their menamen is great, they have very reasonably priced daily specials and a large selection of plates to order. The worst thing I have... More

There are a lot of Turkish restaurants in Frankfurt and all of then are usually good and reasonable in price. Most of then offer doners an a few more dishes. Gundi is better than the average becaues of its selection of dishes and its bead fresh cooked in the oven. There a large selection of meat dishes and an acceptable... More

This was very good place several years ago. I was visiting it often. But now they decided to change the meat that use for doner kebabs. The meat doesn't taste like anything anymore. It is like boiled. I don't really recommend the place for good food. But the atmosphere is still nice.

Watch out, there are two Gundis in Frankfurt, I´ve been to the one in Leipziger Straße (name Gundi II) and was positively surprised. The menu is - as expected - on the meaty side, but there are many vegetarian options. I can recommend the vegetarian dips for starters. For the main course I had the pide with grilled vegetables, which... More
