One of the many places like it, but not specially good. I don't think it's all that authentic, if it were, I think the food would be better.

Atschel is an Apfelweinlokal in Sachsenhausen with amazing food, nice service and huge portions. A plus point in comparison to the similar restaurants nearby is that they are open in lunchtime.

Off the beaten track, fairly rustic and worth a visit, excellent food and very friendly staff. Pork Knuckle was good and crisp, very good value for a fairly expensive city

The restaurant is very popular, so I can recommend to book a table. The service is very friendly and quick. The food is delicious and big portions. I had the Jägerschnitzel and my partner had the Frankfurter Schnitzel. Both meals were fresh and tasted very good. The restaurant has mostly big long tables so get ready to share the table... More

We were a group of 9 looking for food on a weekday night, the place looked full but they had an extension at the back. Food was good and portion was big.

I don't know do I want to share this experience with you, as I will not be able to get a space here the next time we visit!! It was recommended to us by Asha in the Anglo Irish pub and we were so impressed that we went back a second night during our stay in Frankfurt. The food was... More

Just had a meal there. It is a small pub restaurant, 15 mins walk away from Stadel Museuem in Frankfurt. It was packed at 4pm Sat afternoon. I had a glass of apple wine and a local dish of pork cheeks in red wine which was delicious. I saw other people had pork knuckle and pork schnitzel. Though it was... More
