A great location and perfect setting directly at the Old Opera. Nice and friendly service. Delicious composition of red beet, burrata and truffles.
Food is ok (3/5) Service is a disaster (1/5) Waiting time (1/5) Price (2/5) Really can not recommend this place at all, take another one.
Food was nice but nothing extraordinary. Tuna Tatar, shrimp avocado salad and truffle pasta, all ok but not memorable. Location in front of the Old Opera House pretty awesome for a girls night out.
We love to go to Amoroso , the food is always wonderful and authentic, mostly we follow the menu of the day which is always very special
Amoroso has only been around for a little over 2 years as I understood, and judging from the crowd it has gained fame. Had no reservation, and as I was on my own I settled for spot at the bar, which is fine by the...way. The menu consists of a number of classic Italian dishes, of which I choose Vitello Tonato as an appetizer and the Taglialini with truffle as my main dish. Both dishes were made to perfection. As dessert a Panna Cotta, also great. My only criticism would be the bread served, it lacks some salt.More
Absolutely amazing dinner and then lunch few days after (we cant resist and we came again) Food was just WOW! Waiters recommended the best and we enjoyed absolutely every minute: baked in salt fish, tartar, seafood soup and black truffle pasta! My compliments to Cheffff...and to all staff! Super place, going directly to my favorites.More
We came for dinner and we ordered 2 starters and 2 main courses. Food was nice but we were waiting more than 30 minutes between them. Last time here it was the same.
Great Italian cuisine, authentic, great food, service, wine. Recommend: tuna tartar, calamari salad, pastas
We booked a table at 20.00 and when we arrived on time the terrace was completely overbooked. We took a few drinks at the bar. It took around 1 hour before we could have our table. Food was really good: Vitello, avocado with crayfish, lambs,...tagliatella with truffle, veal all perfectly coocked. Wines are really expensive starting at 40 euro a bottle for a white wine. In general an expensive restaurant, but seems that this is not bothering the guests as the place is packed. Overall a good experience.More
Great food and service. We returned after a fantastic dinner for lunch and was given yet another fabulous meal. Friendly team and great vibe.
Lovely restaurant opposite the stunning rebuilt Berlin Opera House. Great people watching. Delicious homemade noodles.
Highly recommended in all respects: chef, hospitality, service. Mostly Italian, although offers a variety of tastes.
Perfect location for a business lunch. Food is terrific. Menu is easy to read but waiters help you out in case you want something off-Menu. They take good care of you... and they are fast.
Located on the Opernplatz, a prime location to observe a night where a huge social event was going on at the Opera House – TV cameras, local glitterati, etc meant most other diners were in formal evening dress and staff run off their feet. This...is an upmarket Italian restaurant with a Bar open daily from 11am – a popular haunt of locals. My friend, a local, often takes visitors there. As neither of us were that hungry this night, we had a delicious crab entrée followed by amazing gelato served by friendly staff in a packed, noisy house. The menu includes soups (E9.50), antipasto (from E16.50 to 22.50), meat and seafood dishes (from E25 to E38), pasta (from E14.50 to 24.50) and dessert (from E8.50 to 11.50). Wine can be purchased by the glass (E8-9). Variety of coffees available from E2.60 to 4.50. Would love to return when it is quieter and try more menu items. Suggest reservations essential for dinner on weekends.More
