Visited Zum Wasserweibchen this month. It was a great pleasure having an enjoyable time in a fine nice and friendly environment. The interior is nicely decorated. Service and personnel deserves a compliment; friendly people knowing their business and serving great German dishes. Card is offering a bit too many choices which is giving you a hard time making a choice.... More

My husband and I were hoping for a nice German dinner , in this busy restaurant. We made the reservation a day ahead and were confirmed, and when arriving into the main hall that looks beautiful they told us that we are sitting upstairs. We got into a simple full room with a table for 12 and were seated along... More

I have been going to Wasserweibchen for over 30 years. I am always amazed by the excellent service, great atmosphere and consistently wonderful local german food. A real gem if business or other takes you to frankfurt. Congrats and keep it up.

After visiting the Schlosspark, we found this restaurant with a garden terrace. The service was efficient and quality. The food is well prepared and tasty. A good time of rest in the garden.

Great old German place if you are in main or tiny back room in main beer stübel ( hall ) meal. Food is a mix of local German - Frankfurt area kitchen and offers some standard German pub items and specials. Fun place for a quick dinner and beer. Service is good on most of my visits and prices are... More

Our concierge in the hotel recommended this hotel to us, and although it was quite a long taxi journey from our hotel, it was well worth it. The welcome was warm and genuine, and the food was excellent. It has a very authentic feel to it, and the menu was interesting and exciting. We all enjoyed the food and the... More

We went to the Wasserweibchen for my birthday and it was a great experience. A very old style German restaurant. We ordered the goose which was great.

Took a business group here including clients on recommendation of a local. We decided on local German cuisine and this hit the mark. Following a considerable wait for foot - interrupted by several drinks - I received the sausage 'circle' ( not its real name of course!) and sauerkraut ... As hoped for this was the German experience sought after... More

Very traditional restaurant with a good choice of food at very reasonable price. The restaurant must be looked for, is little bit away from the main street but the detour is worth the food quality offered. Because of the summer evening (quite warm) an area in the castle garden was reserved for the guests.
