Steak and Lobster grilled and served with perfection. Delecious Side Dishes and excellent Sorbets. The wine-list is not bad either. A few hiden gems of Napa Valley wines.

Visited MASH, Hamburg on the 21st. of September. Food/interior etc. quite nice. When we asked for the bill – we found out that MASH forgot one bottle of red-wine (€ 85) on our invoice. We informed the waiter that the bottle was charged, and the...reaction was “ooh – I will just make a new invoice” There was no thank you – or do you want a cup of coffee on the house – nothing. Wrote them on the next if this was handled a normal way for MASH – and sop far no reaction from them – so assume this is standard procedure. My husband and I had a lovely evening at MASH. The service was very nice (especially from the bartender who was explaining about the drinks and was in general lovely to talk to) and the design of the place is simply gorgeous. The food was...good, but somewhat pricey. I think it's OK to charge more for good quality meat, but a simple leaf salad for 12 euros seemed a bit too much. All in all a nice experience for meat lovers.More

I would love to give this an extra score or 2, but several times the service was missing (example, ordered a beer before the main course was served and it only turned up after the food). The food was outstanding, and the wine perfect. I...feel I will try again but I see others say the service is bad so I hope they see these reports and improve. To set the scene I went with about 30 people from work and the table was booked in advance and all the meals had been pre-ordered. Now the food was quite nice, especially the steak that I had, but the service was awful. It took...3 and a half hours to have the three course meal. I had been there 45 minutes before I was served with a drink, there were plenty of times when the staff came out with food and drink and couldn’t remember who they were for and I was half way through eating my main course and the staff were still bringing out the various side orders. By the time they finally got to serving the deserts, we had been there over three hours and it was too late in the evening for me to want to eat my desert. Now I can’t decide if they were simply short staffed that evening or if the staff were deliberately going slowly to try and get us to buy more drinks. Either way the service was awful.More

Let me start by saying im a big fan of Mash. Have been to their restuarants in Copenhagen and London. So during a long weekend im Hamburg i decided to invite the family to Mash. There was nothing wrong with the food. We arrived a...little to 19.00 hours, we placed our orders around 19.30 and the food came with 20.20. Which is a very long time with two small childeren. When the food came the sauce and some of the sidedishes where missing. They came after we where done. We expected an appology from the waiter instead he asked for tips. Have tried MASH in Copenhagen and this was a bit less good. Everything was ok, we had tater and steaks, also the vine was good and ok priced.
