This is how a top-notch Michelin star rated restaurant should be: amazing food, extremely good service and good location. We have already eaten there three times, and every single one was absolutely worth the fat bill that we got (more than 100€ per person)

It's a two start Michelin and we did have some expectations. We were greeted attentively and the service was always discreetly present but never bothering. Food was very good and the first course (forelle) and (dessert) ile flottante were magnificent in execution and aesthetics. The goat (Bock) that made the main course was very good, but did not leave a... More

Fantastic service and wonderful food. Detailed, delicate and satisfying. Although a bit stuffy and old fashioned, the place is friendly and warm. Expensive but highly recommendable.

Jacobs is a classic gourmet restaurant serving creative, refined but uncomplicated French cuisine. We chose the menu "Thomas Martin" and "Jacob" by limiting us to five dishes (tyou can go up to six, but do not forget that you will get the appetizer, the specialty breads and sweets trolley ... on top of the dishes). All proposals were delicious and... More

My wife and I spent an amazing evening at Jacobs to celebrate our wedding anniversary. The setting, food, atmosphere and staff were simply perfect. The whole evening was perfection, from the welcome and canapés in the bar, through the multi-course menu which delivered even more than the menu promised. Each dish was beautifully presented and delightfully cooked and just the... More

Had dinner here twice in January 2016 -- absolute elegance and the most incredible food. Excellent service, a beautiful room that overlooks the Elbe...it is a unique experience and worth every penny. Recommend the chef's tasting menu as the flavors are perfectly composed on each course; the accompanying wine pairings were excellent -- kudos to the sommelier!

The view in summer is charming and the room is classically attractive but actually quite cold and impersonal to sit in. The service is good, if a bit stiff, but the food really lets the place down. As is normal in Michelin starred restaurants, you are forced to have a menu, and while the quality of the food sourced was... More

This was a fabulous experience. The restaurant and the view was fantastic. The waiters were very professional and friendly - a very good combination. The food and the wine menu were second to none.

We booked Jacobs without knowing about its Stars and booked a tasting menu with accompanying wines. From the get-go the meal was a roaring success with all 4 of us. Jacobs is in Louis Jacob, an old school hotel and restaurant where nothing is too much trouble. We ate our way through 10 courses, 3 of which were deserts and... More

Coming from the homeland of Michellin star Restaurant "Noma" in Copenhagen, I knew it would be difficult to blow me away and It didn't but the dinner was extremely nice and tasty and the duck bering served twice and in 2 different ways was wonderful and juicy. The presentation and the decoration of the food was very nice and we... More

Description
Wine bottles as far as the eye can see. The Kleines Jacob is more than just an offshoot of the top restaurant that lies opposite! The restaurant has an open-view kitchen with a stone oven, producing exquisite food, such as Flammkuchen. The staff are exceptionally friendly and give you all the time you need to enjoy your meal. Admire the walls which are decorated in cork and art work or sit and enjoy a cigarette in the large smokers' area. The restaurant is popular with hotel guests and anyone out walking along the banks of the river Elbe in Blankenese. The restaurant also offers a selection of European wine.
