Stopped off here straight from the train station (literally across the road) and enjoyed a drink in lovely surroundings. It's not the nicest area due to the sheer numbers of homeless / drunks hanging around but once through the doors it was a place of calm. Seemed very popular with locals which is always a good sign and more a... More

Tuesday evening meal in this Restaurant sited opposite the Central Railway Station. Decent service and food at reasonable prices. Small Wiener schnitzel was a generous portion. The pan fish was lovely. Wine was a bit expensive though. Good atmosphere and very comfortable environment. Worth a visit.

Very nice place. It is located just in front of the Hauptbahnhof (Central Station). Excellent bier and nice Bavarian food. Very helpful and nice staff. Prices in the average range in that area.

We visited the place on a late tuesday evening. The place was quiet but the athmosphere was pleasant. Beer was good (Paulaner it is). The location is fine opposite the main railway station

This restaurant was juxtaposed to my hotel . I went on Saturday night as it was the only place that didn't have a line.It seemed very popular with the locals. The service was reasonably quick and the atmosphere was traditionally German, The Christmas decor enhanced the ambiance. I loved the wood paneling. What was also delightful were the little dining... I was on a solo visit to Hamburg end of November to beginning of December and came here both nights I was in Hamburg. First night I visited was great, staff were welcoming and enjoyed a few beers. The next night I visited I decided to have some food (sausages with pretzel). On this visit I was approached by 2... More

I ordered fried egg with fried potatoes but I wanted the egg to be fried on both sides as I hate when it leaks. I got it fried on just one side. My partner had vienner schnitzel with wasn't perfect but eatable. The potato soup was tasty. The stuff was very nice and helpful. The restaurant is cosy. Generally, food... More
