I really enjoyed the Panfisch here. This is definitely a place for all kinds of fish. The service was good, fast and friendly. Just be aware that Google maps direct you to the wrong place. It seems that the friendly people at Dock 14 are already used to re-direct foreigners to the right place...

The restaurant is about a twenty-minute walk from the Landungsbrücken U-Bahn station, at harbour level near the Fischmarkt. It is very popular and although we didn't make a reservation last Saturday evening, it might have been wiser to do so. The dining room is traditional, high-ceilinged with traditional wooden furniture. Don't be put off by the rather bright yellow exterior... More

Classic case of bland, boring , predictable food in Germany. ALL the fish was fried, battered, and came with the same sides; potatoes and small mixed salad. I thought it was a joke . The lame salad had old mushy tomato, old cucumbers, and they tried to disguise it with a dumping a packet of cheap ranch dressing all over... More

Friendly, attentive and quick service. A pretty comprehensive selection of fish dishes including Hamburg's iconic dish labskaus. They do the dish as a half portion and at a very reasonable price so perfect for trying, that way if you don't like it then you're not stuck with having to finish a whole plate. Overall the prices were cheaper than I... More

My husband and I went to this restaurant during a trip to Hamburg harbour. We asked the waiter for recommendations. he recommended a platter to us. I mentioned that I would rather have salmon and asked him if this is a good choice, he frowned and said "not bad" and insisted we have the platter instead. Both of us ordered... More

Fair price, great regional dishes - atmosphere is a little cold, but great view to passing ships, if you have a table at the glass front, been there several times - quality remains high, 48€ 4 drinks, 2 starters & 2 main courses...

Decently prepared but not really fresh fish, served by single rather grumpy owner (?) -waiter, who took his time, despite having only two other tables to deal with for lunch. Great view of the harbour. Perhaps evenings are better value.

Not so expensive, the portions were quite big. Good service, nice beer. Roasted Scholle was very nice, as well as Kartoffelsalat.

A real old school establishment with white linen on the tables and bow-tied waiters. The seafood was excellent, beautifully present and reasonably priced.

The fish was good, local & fresh. Very simple. The service was good despite the fact the 2 servers who were waiting on the entire restaurant upstairs were doing everything from busing tables to bartending. Hard working waitstaff! It was an easy restaurant for us with our infant.
