You must eat/drink for at least 20 € before you can pay with creditcard... Pretty hard if you only buy one beer... Luckily tourists now knows this stupid rule... NOT recommended..

3 people get beers. 16,5 Euro when you pay with card. Then you have to use more than 20 Euros or you can't get change back. So you need to pay cash or accept to give 4,5 Euro in tips for 3 beers....

This is about 100 yards from the Alex, which I have already reviewed. Like the Alex, this can get extremely busy around lunch and at the weekends. We had just came of a boat trip and thought we would grab a beer, good choice, they served Krombacher on draft which was very nice. After looking at the menu, we decided... More

We came here for a quick drink. The service was fast and the drinks came quick. Most people were having deserts.

I should have known better given its location, but nonetheless plunked myself down in this establishment. The food is just burgers, fries, salads - which they do as well as 1000 other establishments. The table was barren, other than an ashtray that dispensed ashes onto the table with each gust of wind.... no salt, no pepper, no hint of bread,... More

Stopped here for a bite to eat while exploring. When we arrived, the place was pretty busy, people were sitting both inside and outside, but we were immediately seated inside. I think we initially chose this restaurant to admire the lake while enjoying our lunch, but there was a type of translucent covering preventing the clear view we had hope... More

Everything we have tried at Mio has been excellent but we haven't tried a proper meal yet - since what attracts us to Mio time after time are the coffee, the Apfelstrudel (with or without ice cream) and the enormous, decorative (or even funny: take a look at the spaghetti versions!) ice cream desserts. Mio is best when the weather... More

Visiting family in hamburg. 1 breakfast at €6.80. One at €9.90. 2 extra coffees at €4 each. Only waiter could work out how that came to €28.70 and not €24. 70. Suddenly unable to speak English and my german is passable. But not good. Definite rip off. Don't go.

Nice place, right next to the lakes. The view is great and the coffee..no comment. I've had a cappuccino which was even better.

My husband and I liked this place for its great view, location close to all the Christmas markets and really good desserts. Service was slow and seemed not really interested much ij their customers, but a couple of drinks, and we did not care. :-)
