An unique bulding set in the middle of Sanssouci Park, das Drachenhaus proved to be the ideal ice cream stop for we parched explorers. On the beautiful shady terrace we were greeted by a friendly if not very English speaking waitress and told to sit anywhere we liked. The menu boasted many treats from full lunches to afternoon teas, but... More

A lovely spot to eat outside in the park. Good choice of food and wine on the menu. Generous servings. A bit pricey, but really good. Great service.

We have been here last week for a company dinner event - and I must honestly say: TOP! Top in everything, the preparation, the flexibility, the service, the food. All our wishes fulfilled - in a cosy atmosphere it was almost like a travel in time to the dinner tables of good OLD FRITZ. Thank you, Drachenhaus, for your efforts.... More

My husband and I ate here after a long walk in the park. The food was good, the wine was even better, and we enjoyed our stay. Can only recommend it! We chose this place because my husband is a China expert and the building fascinated us.

After visiting The Sanssouci Palace and The Orangery we were told the only place in this area of the park for food was the Dragon House not far from The Orangery. We walked on and found the Pagoda building and behind it is the restaurant. It was a great stop for sumptuous deserts and a cappuccino and I had a... More

I was so disappointed. I thought it would be gorgeous, but small and really not impressive. It is just a small cafe that didn't look to good.

Beer is good. Main dishes are NOT German-standart big. SHOW YOUR WELCOMECARD BOOK BEFORE ASKING FOR A CHECK. Otherwise a passing grade place for refreshment from beer,ice-cream.

Lunch time and this was about the only place we were aware of in the park. Got a table outside and had to wait to get menus in English. Took awhile for the waitress to get back and get our order. I also wondered about all the asparagus dishes on the menu and tried the asparagus and potato plate. It... More

We went to the dragon house to rest a bit after the sightseeing of the Sanssouci palace. It's very comfortable to come an go by bus since there is a bus stop exactly in front of it. While walking several stairs up a hill one can already see the beautiful building with its golden dragons. Inside a nice vintage atmosphere... More

The Building is the star of the show at this restaurant in Park Sanssouci in Potsdam. It gets it's name from the many dragons that adorn the multi-tiered roof of this one time house of the large estates grapevine caretaker. There is outdoor, under umbrella, seating as well as indoor. The day was lovely in late August when I visited,... More
