We came to have some coffee and cake at the bakery-coffe shop. The service was outstanding. When we visited the gift shop we were treated like criminals. The sales clerk kept following us and giving us the stink eye. When we looked at the table runners she came up to us and in a very hostile and angry tone asked... More

After a palace tour, we visited with a group after notifying the restaurant the day before, and they simply were not ready for us. The restaurant is on the site of the old royal dairy, and is a beautiful location. Service was slow, and the food was just average. While waiting, we walked to the back where the brewery was,... The bier was excellent. Reminded me of the Helles in Bavaria. The Grobe Bratwurst was also excellent, although after watching my friend eat the roast pork, I was a little jealous, it looked even better. We were a large group and there were three wait staff trying to help us. One was competent, the other two not so much. My... More

We came here after a lovely long walk through the palace gardens. Being a Monday afternoon it was quiet but we had excellent service and great food (once we worked out the German menu). We had a chicken dish and schnitzel with potatoes, cucumber and mustard. Kids all enjoyed a huge bratwurst which were more like the sausages from home... More

We went on a beautiful autumn day and were so thrilled by being able to catch a table in the packed courtyard that we didn't care too much about the way too slow and not overly friendly (but obviously also overworked and calculated too few for the masses that arrived that day) service. The food was okay; I guess that... More

The place pretends to be something special, a kind of historic witness of a great past. Probably it is, but the atmosphere has been a bit disappointing: too noisy because of heeps of loud crowds, the food was mediocre - not a hint of fantasy neither in presentation nor in taste. Well, a kind of tourist trap. I'll not return.

Wrapping up the morning at Das Krongt am Schloss Sanssouci, the former royal farm that supplied food for the court, we admired the old buildings, including the original bakery, which still serves a tempting array of pastries. We had lunch at the brewery and restaurant. Although we’d hoped to sit outdoors, pesky yellow jackets forced us inside. I ordered Köln... More

This is a typical tourist place. The food was quite disappointing. There was a strong smell of old beer in the dining room. We did definitively not like this place.

A group of us went to this restaurant after a visit to Sanssouci - just a 10-15 minute leisurely stroll. We were served promptly. English menus were available. The portions were large and nicely prepared. Service was prompt - and as we had limited time we appreciated that the staff were able to provide us with food very quickly. The... More

Went with my family after a long road trip hoping for a nice dinner. Payed about 15 euros for about 8 units of gnocchi. Shameful!
