Walking around the Schnoor area, we decided to stop and have lunch.
Service we ok and very fast delivery of our lunch.
Our coffee and tea was lovely, and the meal was very nice.

Located on the edge of the quaint Schnoor district is this rather traditional bakery. Tables inside and out. Selection of about 6 different cakes and all sorts of other baked treats. It's all fresh, all very well made and served quickly. Good coffee too!

Schnoor is the oldest part of Bremen. This café was the only establishment we found open before 11am when we called in for coffee before visiting other local attractions. The service was attentive. The outdoor seating provided scope for people watching. the Kirschstreussel-torte was delicious and prices were very reasonable. Highly recommended.

My parents and I came here for cake, coffee and tea. The cake was tasty and location very convenient, but instead of the black tea I ordered I got a green tea. Staff refused to change it and i paid full price for a tea I hadn't ordered. Ironically, they served me this green tea with milk. A disgusting concoction. Maybe get the cake as a takeaway as it is gorgeous.

From the moment we entered the woman was glaring, this should have clued us in. Incredibly rude service, made to feel very unwelcome. Pastry was decent but I noticed the woman on the table next to us left most of her breakfast. Do not go here, lots of other much nicer places nearby.

Achtung!
If you ask for glutenfree products the store seller lady can show you some products. This is NOT TRUE! they have gluten and if you are a celiac you could get a big reaction as I got.

Just the place to rest your legs after an hour wandering the streets. The pastries are to die for! The coffee was great and we were warmly welcomed. 5 stars!

This is a cute cafe in the Schnoor district of Bremen, about a 10 minute walk from the very crowded town hall and square. Schnoor is full of narrow laneways, shops and cafes. We ordered partyfrikadellen (small meatballs and salad) and Becks beer (which is brewed in Bremen). Our total bill was 20.40 euros for two people. There were some lovely cakes, but we didn't sample them. Next time.

We had coffee and hot chocolate there with a large piece of beautiful cake and a nut slice. Some of the others had the ice cream which looked lovely. Everything tasted great.

We wanted to take a closer look at Schnoor and this cafe was one of the attractions on the list. The bakery offers an array of colourful and tasty treats - too much choice! We opted for the business breakfast in the cafe and were thrilled with a choice that included fresh orange juice, croissant, fruit, and sandwich options. A must visit during any stay in Bremen.

Walking through the Schnoor and looking for some special? Take a piece of Bremer Klaben - wonderful. It is a type of Stollen from Bremen, Germany and is famous in Northern Germany, You need to taste it. Too delicious to be eaten during Christmas only. It is a kind of sweet bread made with lots of raisins, flour, butter, sugar, orange and lemon peel, rum, almonds, yeast and salt. okay, the coffee could be better. Staff is helpful and friendly.

I've been here twice. Just a neat whole in the wall but perfect for for a building built 400 years ago. Helpful staff and FANTASTIC cakes and pies. YUM.

We found this café while walking in the Schnoor and decided to have a quick coffee and a cake.
The Coffee and hot chocolate in particular was very enjoyable and the café served a nice variety of cakes.
We would certainly visit this café again if we are in Bremen

The cafe is tucked away in Schnoor, but on one of the less narrow streets.
I had a coffee, which was acceptable. A Gooseberry and Meringue cake, which was very good, and 3 scoops of ice cream, which was OK. The staff spoke English and were pleasant. The cafe is quaint and interesting.
The cake was very good. I felt it a little too sweet, but I did choose the meringue.
I expected better from the ice cream but the flavours were not very exciting and I had Chocolate, Herrberry and I think coffee. It was ho-hum.

The ice coffee is very nice, with a nice scoop of real ice cream. Bit expensive at €4,50 but hey. Place might not look great, actually I thought the outside and terrace looked a little sad, but it's popular with tourists for a reason.
