We went here to have dinner. The place is very big. The food that we ordered came quick. The quality of the food was okay, probably a bit overpriced. If you are in a hurry and want to eat fast in a nice atmosphere, then go to the Bremer Ratskeller.

The atmosphere is great it is like going back in time. The food was tasty and there was plenty of it, in hindsight I shouldn't have had a starter. I chose the stew for the starter it was very good more like a thick bacon and potato soup, though you wouldn't have got that from the description in the menu.... More

Places like this can hardly fail giving you a fine time. It's a bit like eating in a museum, a restaurant with history! The traditional Food is fine, service fase like it's supposed to in a Brauhaus. Advisable!

We had a wonderful lunch time here during our one day stay in Bremen. Situated right in the heart of the historical center of the town. Very authentic. Personnel is friendly and obliging. The food was masterpiece. We may recommend knipp and labskaus which are local specialities. Just be careful with the size of the portions - they're ... huge... More

This was our second time visiting the restaurant and confirmed our first impression. Newer again. Food is local and it is understandable that it tastes different. However pork was raw and returned to kitchen. When it game back it was still raw. Others in our group had same experience. No apologises. Main waiter did not have time to take our... More

The food here was absolutely awful atleast for me! The prok liver soup (which was supposedly one of the favourites there) was terrible and the dessert was also not upto the mark. Other friends who had drinks were pretty happy with the drinks though. But food was not great at all.

We were there to have lunch and liked it a lot. Service was good and food as well and not too expensive. There atmosphere is beautiful. You will find a old German restaurant just as it's supposed to be.

The service was excellent! The food was pretty good but not mind-blowing. I mean, German food isn't that great anyway. Schnitzel, tubular meat products, saurkraut, mashed potatoes.....meh. But, the restaurant is beautiful and has alot of history so you gotta eat here. The have outdoor seating, also, with a beautiful view of the town center.

Walk downstairs into a large room with enormous wine barrels and an Old World feel. Waiter spoke good English. Many good house wines by the full and half liter at very reasonable prices. The small chicken stuffed with cheese and surrounded by creamed spinach and bulgar wheat was creative and very tasty. Very good value for Americans.
