We ate here for dinner on a Saturday night. Restaurant was very busy but was still able to find us a table without a reservation. Staff were very welcoming and spoke numerous languages. Food was reasonably priced for the quality. Service seemed to take while when compared to what we get at home but I feel this maybe the Berlin... More

It was a very busy Saturday night a few weeks before Christmas and were unable to find a table at a nearby restaurant so we were lucky to be offered a table in Reinhard's if we could eat our meal in 1hour 20mins; others inquiring for tables after us were turned away. Due to time constraints we opted just to... More

Whilst entering this property, we were welcomed in the most peculiar way, the waiter telling us that we have one hour to eat. The food was more or less mediocre. I had an onion soup which wasn't great at all. The rest of the party had extremely small portions and nothing fancy except for the quality of the food which... More

We visited Reinhard's on the off chance. The greeting on the door was very 'Germanic' aka brusque verging on rude. However, our waiter was quite nice. Considering that the restaurant was half empty I think we could have had a better table. The steak was delicious and I could have easily have drank the sauce from the gravy boat. Dessert... More

Nice place with good German food, good size portions. The restaurant is quite big on the inside with cosy interior. Staff was kind and professional. I would recommend it .

Breakfast lunch or Dinner, Reinhard's is definitely a must. This restaurant located in the center of Berlin is one of the best. Friendly staff, you never feel pushed to hurry and leave. If you are in a hurry, this is not the place for you as the pace is moderate when waiting for the check.

We were looking for a place to have breakfast on Suday morning. From outside doesn't look much, but it's quite big inside and very nice and cozy atmosphere inside, old-school decorated. The waiters speak English and we received English menus also. The food was quite a lot for what we were expecting, very good value for money overall. Reccomend Reinhard's... More

Me and my beautiful girlfriend were at a loose end on our final evening in Berlin and we're looking for somewhere for a last German beer before our flight home. This place is primarily a restaurant. The welcome at the door was abrupt and quite frankly rude. The service was clinical and dismissive. We even got the impression the staff... More

Good food, juicy quality steaks. Fries bit too salty for our taste. Mixed dessert was great, good portion and excellent taste. Pricing a bit on the high end versus quality. Service was friendly. A lot of elderly people. Overall it was good, but middle of the road.

Staying in Mitte

Neighborhood Profile
Mitte
The center of Berlin, Mitte is most famous for sights like the Brandenburg Gate, Alexanderplatz, and Museum Island. The central location makes this one of the city's most expensive places to live. It is here the oldest traces of the city can be found, and evidence of some significant transformations, as well. The gangsters that once ruled the impoverished streets between Alexanderplatz and Hackescher Markt have given way to an international crowd pursuing fashionable designer clothes, the newest food trends and frequenting the many craft shops. Graphic designers have taken up residence in what used to be backyard barns and stables. There are still vestiges of the old days, however. The occasional housing complex is a reminder of the neighborhood’s past. And if you look carefully, an old 1920s ball house nestled amongst the art galleries and exhibitions of Auguststrasse can still teach you how to dance the old fashioned way.
