This was the sixth time we visited Heising and it was just as excelent as the five other. The atmosphere is something very special, the food is excelent and the wines are just perfect compaired to the price. I can only say - try it. We will be back.

What can I say. The decor, the food, the service ist weltklasse:) From the moment we where greated at the door until the check came, we where treated like we where special invited guests. I love, that places like this still exist in the world:)

This place oozes charm and history. I would go as far as to say it's probably the only place left like this in Berlin. It's like stepping back to the 1930s and taking part in a slice of history. The food is exceptional and cannot be faulted. You need to be aware however, this is a cash only restaurant.

This was a very nice old world style restaurant. The staff was quite attentive. The food style was also very traditional and good. The main negative is that it is cash only.

Very good food, served by the nicest people and perfect service in an old-fashioned restaurant (in the best sense of the word)

Great place, ambience, service, food! The family run business is high end and very cosy. Enjoy the atmosphere and the excellent food with great selection of wines. Enjoyed every minute of it.

This was a,great experience I wanted a 20 year old will have - eat a classic conservative dinner. This was the only way restaurants served dinner maybe 60-80 years ago, and now it is rare. This restaurant is family owned and managed, with very high standards of service, table look & food. We loved it. The food was super. The... More

This is a very special restaurant that I would rate No1 in Berlin. It is a luxury family old fashioned restaurant with perfect service and excellent food. The wine choice is very good. The food is delicious. The atmosphere is friendly. It is a must visit place.

Excellent food and services. This is the best restaurant with friends and guests I have ever had in Berlin. Traditional and classical French restaurant preserves a high standard of food and services. Not a deluxe type but with very friendly and warm atmosphere servced nicely by a family owner. Even though the restaurant is small, the envirnment is quiet and... More

I followed the review of Trip Advisor rating it as #8 and everything was as described! 3 or 4 courses dinner (48€ or 56€) with 4 choices for starter, first, second, and dessert, wine list with about 10 whites and 10 red wines (39-45€), aperitifs and digestives. We were 3, had a 3 course dinner, with a bottle of wine,... More

Staying in Charlottenburg

Neighborhood Profile
Breathe in Berlin’s royal past while walking through the gardens of beautiful Charlottenburg Palace, which lends its name to this well-heeled neighborhood. Here you'll find some of the oldest homes in the city: upper-class apartment buildings with ornate facades and marble-floored foyers line the cobblestone streets. Stroll by sophisticated restaurants, through little parks, or around Lake Lietzensee. Window shop down Kurfürstendamm, the most renowned high-end shopping street in Berlin, where you can find all the big designer names. In the evening, visit one of the old theaters close by Zoo Station which were nightlife hot spots in the 1920s, or dine in one of the many international restaurants around Savignyplatz before heading to other parts of town for a night out.
