Visited with four friends for a midday drink. I was boring and had an (incredibly tasty) hot chocolate and my friends had cocktails. The service was excellent with really friendly staff and the prices were very good. Would definitely return again on another trip. Would have loved to have tried the food.

I ordered a vegetable casserole and found some kind of grit like substance (possibly glass or ceramic) inside. When I complained the dish was taken away, nothing else offered and the dish still remained on the bill. When we asked the waiter was very rude insisting that there was no problem with the food. The manager did not come to... More

We visited here for brunch and the food was good. It's not authentic 'ethnic' cuisine but the dishes are fresh and a nice break from standard German cuisine. Lots of options depending on tastes.

A colleague and I ate dinner here one night while on business in Berlin. The place offered a great atmosphere (very hip) and even better food and drink. We both had wine and started with soups (potato with basil and tomato with ginger), both which were amazing. We then finished with an assorted cheese plate. We liked the place so... More

Been there quite often for a coffee which is actually pretty good. The menu is rather burger-style, but the food is still ok. Nice tables outside. Attention: Service is VERY slow and never understands special orders.

good place to eat a pricable and big pizza or have brunch. The other dishes are average. Often you have to wait quite long to get something to eat. Very chilly to sit outside in the summer.

Staying in Friedrichshain

Neighborhood Profile
Friedrichshain
When you arrive at Warschauer Strasse in the heart of the district, you have found one of Berlin’s party hotspots. At night in Friedrichshain, the energy is palpable and the streets of this old worker's quarter are full of street musicians. On one hand, you may find a bar with international crowds, electronic music, long lines and panoramic views - on the other, an outside venue by old train yards featuring decrepit buildings and live alternative music. No matter your taste, the best way to end a night out in Friedrichshain is sitting by the Spree River at the East side gallery, the longest and best preserved piece of the Berlin Wall, watching the sun rise over the beautiful Oberbaum Bridge.
