This place looks like it shouldn't be serving food but boy it definitely should be. The queues can be long but it's worth it. It's near the east side gallery so it's a convenient pit stop after wandering over the bridge. The place is small, standing room inside and about 3 tables outside. Most people (including ourselves) took our food... More

The burger was tasty in an unexplainable way. The vibe was awesome, but I wish it was possible to sit inside. Go if you're around!

I heard about this place on tripadvisor and decided to talk a trip down there one evening with three friends. The burger bar is pretty cheap, open most of the day and night, and settled in tight underneath some train tracks near the East Side Gallery. It is a very small place but worth the visit for a chilled out... More

Delightful burger kiosk under a U-Bahn. Queues can be long as it's so good - and worth the wait. We had a chilli-cheeseburger and BBQ burger and they were juicy and delicious. Staff very friendly, especially considering the relentless rate they were churning out quality burgers. Go now.

You place your order, wait for your number to call and you tuck in, simple! I ordered a Chilli Cheeseburger and it was one of the best burgers I've ever had, super juicy. Not much space at the shop though, but we really enjoyed our burgers. Tofu Burger & Meisterburger was good as well. Must try!

Based on the reviews I just couldn't resist going here. I ordered the meisterburger, and it was delicious, and a mishmash (mix fanta-cola). The staff spoke English and you receive a number which they will call when your order is ready. A must try. Enjoy!

I had looked up this place weeks before going and it was 100% worth the wait!!! We traveled to this little shed like place underneath the subway station. The burgers were thick, spicy and juicy. Almost had me crying they were that good. And the service was fab, great people working there. Worth the cold trek around Berlin to find... More

I'm not a fan of burger and fast foods but satisfied with the burger here. But the waiting time is a bit long and sometime you can't find a place to sit.

Thank Anne P

Staying in Kreuzberg

Neighborhood Profile
Berlin's revolutionary heart and immigrant roots can both be found in Kreuzberg, but this central neighborhood is beginning a new chapter. In the 1950s and 60s, Turkish guest workers settled around Kottbusser Tor, while in the 1980s and 90s, rambunctious squatters and artists gathered to live a carefree life here. An old hospital even became a hotspot of riots between squatters and police. Today you can still find the best kebabs in town and many underground clubs, but a lot has changed as well. The hospital has been transformed into an art center, and increasingly you will find new urban cafés, restaurants and designer shops. Rising housing prices and gentrification threaten the spirit of this area along the Spree River, but the neighborhood’s legacy is upheld by a very engaged community fighting to preserve its rebellious identity.
