I came here by myself while on a business trip to Berlin. The waiters are all Italian with an “old world” view regarding single female customers. Very polite, but a bit condescending. The food is amazing!!! The branzino is worth making a detour for. Their...More

Breathe in Berlin’s royal past while walking through
the gardens of beautiful Charlottenburg Palace, which
lends its name to this well-heeled neighborhood. Here
you'll find some of the oldest homes in the city:
upper-class apartment buildings with ornate facades
and marble-floored foyers line the cobblestone
streets. Stroll by sophisticated restaurants, through
little parks, or around Lake Lietzensee. Window shop

The Sorriso is a long-established restaurant on Berlin's Kurfürstendamm. The décor is lavish. In fine weather you can sit out on the terrace and enjoy the water garden and amphorae. There is plenty to look at inside the restaurant with wall paintings, paraphernalia and an impressive wine cabinet. The wine comes at the right temperature. The cuisine is fresh and authentic and is popular with tourists and aficionados of Italian food. If you have a sweet tooth why not try the chocolate soufflé with parfait of honey. The staff strive to give the guests a real treat. The chef can also come and cook in your home.
