Our hotel was just down the street so the Prater Garten was our go to spot for bier und ein brat. A fun place with very reasonably priced beer and food. Make sure you drop by!

Wonderfully atmospheric open air beer garden in the narrative of all the Berlin spy thrillers you have enjoyed. Rough tables and benches German sausages and excellent locally brewed beer. You will be swaying from side to side whether you are singing or not!

Prenzlauer Berg
No Berlin neighborhood has undergone a greater change
than Prenzlauer Berg. The artists and non-conformists
that defined the district’s intriguing subculture in
the 1980s and 90s have been replaced by a young, hip

once run-down houses in the shadow of the Berlin Wall,
there are now designer shops. Beautiful old homes have
been modernized and renovated, and on Sundays,
