Tofu & rice with curry sauce was excellent. Recommended for everyone and specifically for vegetarians / vegans. Do go there.

Quality veggie food in great surroundings with english menu and friendly staff. This restaurant is in a trendy area of Berlin and you can ignore the slight edgy clientele at the metro station. Thank you for the meal!!

My daughter is vegetarian and she was thrilled to find a restaurant which gave her so much choice. Everything we had was delicious, and portion sizes were generous. The staff were lovely, and helped us with words on the menu which we didn't understand. Eating outside in this area of Kreuzberg was a wonderful experience. Prices were not exactly cheap... More

A lovely, atmospheric little restaurant offering cheap and decent veggie and vegan food. We loved the candles and slightly battered charm of the place. Sensibly they make veggie versions of existing, mainly Italian and Indian, dishes rather than experiment with new combinations. The results are a little old fashioned ( I can't remember the last time I saw saitan on... More

Had the Gorgonzola pizza with spinach and egg. Would have been amazing if egg yolk was runny.. Still decent though. Whole menu is vegetarian but hardly any gluten free options which was annoying as gf is a veg gluten free eater. Still not bad at all!

We tried several dishes and they were all delicious. We had Pizza, the spinach balls, and the celery Schnitzel. I would also recommend the seasonal Menu. Definitely a wonderful place to enjoy some Vegetarian dishes.

To be frank, I wasn't looking forward to eating here. I'm not a huge fan of pure veggie joints, and the fact there was so much saitan on the menu made me feel it might all be a bit 70s for me. But it all turned out well, the pizza was good, the dumplings and stew were perfectly nice, and... More

Food is good and the setting is relaxed and warm. We liked the chestnut soup so much that we ordered extra to take home with us. The wine list is pretty limited and on the night we visited, the staff seemed gloomy

Really varied veggie menu, good for vegan and non vegan choices. Nice mixed and fresh salads and starters and very good value wine. Staff are friendly and welcoming and we love coming here whenever we are lucky enough to be in Berlin. Pizza could be a bit more tasty, seemed a bit lacklustre on the occasion we order pizza but... Cafe V is in the right place, has nice vegetarian options, is not expensive. Been several times and happy to repeat. From their bread on everything I have tasted was very good. I also like that they have some daily/weekly specials, what keeps me coming back to see what's new. It makes a good dinner, specially outside during the summer.

Staying in Kreuzberg

Neighborhood Profile
Berlin's revolutionary heart and immigrant roots can both be found in Kreuzberg, but this central neighborhood is beginning a new chapter. In the 1950s and 60s, Turkish guest workers settled around Kottbusser Tor, while in the 1980s and 90s, rambunctious squatters and artists gathered to live a carefree life here. An old hospital even became a hotspot of riots between squatters and police. Today you can still find the best kebabs in town and many underground clubs, but a lot has changed as well. The hospital has been transformed into an art center, and increasingly you will find new urban cafés, restaurants and designer shops. Rising housing prices and gentrification threaten the spirit of this area along the Spree River, but the neighborhood’s legacy is upheld by a very engaged community fighting to preserve its rebellious identity.
