I'm not a vegetarian but I was attracted by the unusual menu. I had the breaded artichokes with strong cheese sause and German style pasta. The quality was astonishingly good. It was well cooked and we'll presented and exceptionally good value. It is rare I give excellent ratings to restaurants but this one really deserves an excellent rating.

the food was a little slow to come out, but it was definitely worth the wait. I had the chickpea polenta cakes and my girlfriend had the spinach balls with spatzle. both were hearty, filling and unique dishes with a huge depth of flavour. great presentation as well. the whole meal was very good value for money and the outside... This place used to have amazing food 8 years ago. I can't tell if it still does, because the arrogance of the waiter made us cancel our order and walk off. Make sure to only come here if you are in synch with all beliefs of its staff. Just as background: as we literally had been looking forward to coming... More

This restaurant serves a wide variety of dishes, all which sound amazing. There are vegan and vegetarian options, they definitely don't skimp on the portion sizes either. The service was fantastic, our server was the only one there besides the cooks and she genuinely wanted to give everyone the best experience they could have. Definitely recommend!!

This was the best meal we had in Berlin on this trip. We were 2 vegetarians, myself (vegan) and one omnivore and we all agreed it was fantastic. Highly recommended, we had appetizers (the rice balls!!! omg the rice balls!) and main courses. I got the vegan pizza, which I do NOT recommend, if you want good vegan pizza in... More

Took seats outside on pavement with a table which had evidently seen some service. Lovely street setting. The waitress (whom I suspect might have been the owner) spoke good English and was very helpful. Portions were generous - the tables are quite small and she brought a little extra table to put the additional plates on! The meal came with... More

As someone with Celiac disease, I was pleasantly surprised to find that the café had many gluten free options, including pizza!

Cafe V was the first place I went to eat when I visited Berlin. We went there to get brekfast/brunch. I was incredibly hungry when we arrived there and I decided to get the vegan scrambled eggs without the bread (I'm allergic to wheat, rye and barley). I've never had vegan scambled eggs but I now will have it more... More

This is a very charming restaurant with an excellent menu selection. It's a vegetarian restaurant that serves fresh and tasty food. The staff was helpful and friendly. When we dined, it was a quiet and warm atmosphere and we stayed a couple of hours. It's also a good value.

We eat vegetarian on the road o this cafe fit the bill.located in hipster Kreusberg area. Cozy atmosphere we ordered yummy rocket salad ( arugula) and the best pizza- their menu was more eclectic and we're sorry we didn't return for a bigger dinner. Highly recommend.

Staying in Kreuzberg

Neighborhood Profile
Kreuzberg
Berlin's revolutionary heart and immigrant roots can both be found in Kreuzberg, but this central neighborhood is beginning a new chapter. In the 1950s and 60s, Turkish guest workers settled around Kottbusser Tor, while in the 1980s and 90s, rambunctious squatters and artists gathered to live a carefree life here. An old hospital even became a hotspot of riots between squatters and police. Today you can still find the best kebabs in town and many underground clubs, but a lot has changed as well. The hospital has been transformed into an art center, and increasingly you will find new urban cafés, restaurants and designer shops. Rising housing prices and gentrification threaten the spirit of this area along the Spree River, but the neighborhood’s legacy is upheld by a very engaged community fighting to preserve its rebellious identity.
