This restaurant is not boasting its existence outside. You really have to know that it is there, just in the corner of Alte Schönhauser Straße and Mulackstraße. Two small rooms with modest furniture, some kitsch decoration and intense closeness with other customers. Very friendly service! They offered to fit us in even though we did not have a reservation, which... More

Who knew you could get such beautifully light and tasty Italian food in Berlin? I can't wait to come back for another meal so I can taste a different dish. My wife and I shared the truffle tagliatelle and gnocchi and loved every mouthful. Wonderful. You won't be disappointed!

I have visited this place for lunch a couple of times. You don't generally need a reservation at lunch, although I've heard that you do for dinner. It's a pretty small place. Very charming. The staff are friendly and attentive. They have some standard expected dishes, but they also have creative seasonal dishes. On my most recent visit, I had... More

On my regular visits to Mitte I was ensure that a visit here is scheduled. The kitchen is as tiny as the menu but the simple Italian dishes and friendly staff are always perfect. There is a reasonably priced wine list with outdoor summer seating and a cosy interior for cold winters.

This is a lovely small, Italian restaurants for people who enjoy fresh pasta. The menu is very small approx 6 main dishes ( all pasta ) and 2-3 daily specials . I haven't had a starter but they looked very promising . I took lemon and scampi spaghetti . The taste was good but they were a bit too dry... More

I saw a write up abt this restaurant and although I'm only in Berlin for a few days and should be eating German food, I really wanted to check this place out. I hadn't eaten much through the day, so when I got there I was a little famished. Along with a carafe of wine I started with the antipasti... More

This a favorite of mine for a casual lunch when in Mitte. It has a small menu so it might be worth checking out the menu before going if you have specific needs. The tagliatelle tarfuffo coupled with a salad is delicious. Like many places in Berlin it's cash only, or was when I was there a few months ago... More

Located in a very special, quiet and filled with beautiful little shops street - this restaurant was an excellent choice! Friendly waiters and great service.. Had the burrata as an appetizer and the pasta with truffles as a main and loved both

This is a great Italian spot in Mitte. We shared the ricotta and honey app, a salad and truffle pasta. The food was great and the spot is super cute!

Staying in Mitte

Neighborhood Profile
The center of Berlin, Mitte is most famous for sights like the Brandenburg Gate, Alexanderplatz, and Museum Island. The central location makes this one of the city's most expensive places to live. It is here the oldest traces of the city can be found, and evidence of some significant transformations, as well. The gangsters that once ruled the impoverished streets between Alexanderplatz and Hackescher Markt have given way to an international crowd pursuing fashionable designer clothes, the newest food trends and frequenting the many craft shops. Graphic designers have taken up residence in what used to be backyard barns and stables. There are still vestiges of the old days, however. The occasional housing complex is a reminder of the neighborhood’s past. And if you look carefully, an old 1920s ball house nestled amongst the art galleries and exhibitions of Auguststrasse can still teach you how to dance the old fashioned way.
