I went for the first time to this place and I will back for sure. We ate Schnitzels and there was perfect! You can cut them just using your fork. The staff is lovely, so kind and attentive, also before to go there, I called...them to ask if my reservation it was ok, and the person that answered it was really nice. Prices are honest, according to the quality. The place is like an old school restaurant, you feel at home.More

Great place with cosy informal atmosphere. Great Austrian original food. The meat dishes are very high quality. The staff friendly and of course the beer is tasty. Certainly will come back here.

We've been coming here for 10 years and are pleased to report that the food and service are still the same: EXCELLENT! Had a lovely Pfifferlinge-menu lunch. The Spaetzel was excellent. They don't need to brag. The proof is in the quality of the food....Dine with confidence and enjoy as we did!More

It is a characteristic place in Kreuzberg. The restaurant makes probably the best schnitzels and gulasch in town. Portions are huge. Highly recommended to reserve a table on weekends.

Very good food and very big Schnitzels. Excellent service and nice atmosphere. Prices are also good. Not to expensive. See the picture. Note: potatoes are underneath the schnitzel.

We used to love this place but in recent times it has been overrun by tourists. Close to impossible to get a table, even through reservation. Friendliness of staff is on a rapid decline. Same is true for the food quality. Time to move on...elsewhere...More

We are Wiener Schnitzel Fans. We had them in Vienna,Munich,etc......In Berlin so far we had our favourite place in Borchardts, which is glitzy. The last time we were there we were quite astonished seeing German chancellor Angela Merkel enjoying herself at the adjacent table. This...place is a complete different environment.Rustic, rough hewn authentic furniture, extremely nice service, fantastic food and a very pleasant vibe. Be aware that this establishment accepts cash only. Highly recommended for authentic German/Austrian No frillls cuisine.More

Went to this restaurant two times, first time years ago with my mom and last time with my boyfriend. Always very good food and very nice and kind staff!

This place is a real treat. Not a fancy, modern place but a rustic, beautiful inn with solid and extremely tasty austrian/german dishes. The quality of the dishes is extraordinary and portions are huge. My favourite us the ”Wiener Schnitzel“, a large, breaded slice of...thin, tender veal with broth-soaked, warm potato salad and a side of cucumber salad. Reminds me always of my home region in south-west german Württemberg. Over the years, this place continously offered super quality at a very reasonable price. Table reservation is recommended.More
