Well presented and lovely food, in a very convivial atmosphere. Well worth a visit if you are in the area.

Schneeweiss, which translates to "Snow White," was outstanding in every way. Their schnitzel and spaetzle may be the best in Berlin!

We had veal, steaks, schnitzel and raviolis. Beautifully presented and tasty. Cheaper wines were about 30 euros a bottle. Also nice desserts.

This is a beautiful restaurant with a nice Sunday brunch buffet. We sat outside and enjoyed the ambiance. It is decently far from the subway station, which was the only drawback (it took us a while to get there), but the brunch made up for it. Nice authentic food, friendly staff!

Excellent food in a non-tourist neighborhood. Very nice environment. Wienerschnitzel is great. Terrific service. Reasonably priced (certainly by Berlin standards) for a restaurant of this quality.

Lovely restaurant with amazing food & excellent presentation. We booked in advance and would definitely recommend doing the same as it's a very popular spot & pretty much all the tables were reserved.

Quality food, great & gentle service with a smile. A refaire & faut le détour. Very honest pricing and original/cosy interior 😊

Excellent food and service. We ordered the potato soup that was on the menu of the day, schnitzel and goulash. All were very traditional items, yet prepared with flair. The breading on schnitzel, for instance, was so light, it reminded me of really nice tempura restaurants in Tokyo. I have attached a few photographs. Menu also had several modern entrees... More

Like many other reviews we can say tastes we clever and good, good combination of variation. Small portions is a good idea, they have different kind of salads in tiny glass jars, you can take your table, for example. But nevertheless, you have to taste nearly everything. Deserts were great too.

Staying in Friedrichshain

Neighborhood Profile
When you arrive at Warschauer Strasse in the heart of the district, you have found one of Berlin’s party hotspots. At night in Friedrichshain, the energy is palpable and the streets of this old worker's quarter are full of street musicians. On one hand, you may find a bar with international crowds, electronic music, long lines and panoramic views - on the other, an outside venue by old train yards featuring decrepit buildings and live alternative music. No matter your taste, the best way to end a night out in Friedrichshain is sitting by the Spree River at the East side gallery, the longest and best preserved piece of the Berlin Wall, watching the sun rise over the beautiful Oberbaum Bridge.
