I order many times a week from Kreuzburger and I'm always satisfied: the smell, the taste, the consistence of the bread, the price; all is perfect. In my personal experience, on of the best Cheesburger I've ever eat in my whole life.

Quality of food is very good with the burgers being prepared on demand in the open kitchen behind the counter. Recipes are very original and there are 4 different kinds of french fries or potatoe side orders to chose from. However, they don't seem to care how you like your meat, so your burger will be well done! You might... More

This burger place is what you might call "stripped back"! It's very cool, very good and very cheap. The burgers are excellent and there's a good range of veggie options. Sit outside or at a window seat and enjoy the view of shabby chic Oranienstrasse and its hipsters.

I went here with my brother for something quick to eat for lunch last week. It wasn't quick nor was it tasty. I ordered a beef burrito, the server was cheeky at best and the food took so long that I finished my drink. When my number was called, I arrived to the counter, the server grabbed my ticket and... Great burger and even greater fried potatoes (choose the ones with skin and pepper). Fast service. Not expensive. Big portions.

We had lunch at Kreuzburger because of the catchy name (hamburger in Kreuzburg...). But it was nothing to go looking for, the food was medium and the service poor. But if there, check out the toilet, it does not at all go together with the restaurant...

It's a little burger restaurant... I read a review of it, supposedly written by local experts who said it was between the 10 best German restaurants to go to in Berlin... I must say that such a review would make the place very overrated. Now, don't get me wrong, the burger was quite good, I have no complaints; tasty, ok... More

If you really want a burger, then head over here. Staff and service is poor, unconsidered and rather slack. Burgers are tasty but very pricey. Had better/cheaper in London and NYC. Expensive drinks.

Staying in Kreuzberg

Neighborhood Profile
Berlin's revolutionary heart and immigrant roots can both be found in Kreuzberg, but this central neighborhood is beginning a new chapter. In the 1950s and 60s, Turkish guest workers settled around Kottbusser Tor, while in the 1980s and 90s, rambunctious squatters and artists gathered to live a carefree life here. An old hospital even became a hotspot of riots between squatters and police. Today you can still find the best kebabs in town and many underground clubs, but a lot has changed as well. The hospital has been transformed into an art center, and increasingly you will find new urban cafés, restaurants and designer shops. Rising housing prices and gentrification threaten the spirit of this area along the Spree River, but the neighborhood’s legacy is upheld by a very engaged community fighting to preserve its rebellious identity.
