Kreuzburger offers a variety of great fast foods, from burgers and different kinds of fries to mozzarella sticks. So whatever you feel like, they have it. Also it's fast and affordable, down side is that at most of their locations you have to pay by cash. But hey, they serve vegan and vegetarian burgers!

After a long walk, and it was bloody freezing too, the lure of a decent burger was a real pull. The burgers though, whilst looking the business, were under seasoned and the chips were cold. My mushroom and cheese addition might as well not have been there as neither added any flavour though my friends one with aubergines was a... More

Stumbled along this place during a short visit to Berlin; I needed a place where I could have a quick lunch and go. It did not disappoint me! Service was amusing: you place an order and wait until it's ready and your order number flashes on a display board with a beeping noise. Staff speaks limited English, but they are... More

There are so many places to eat on Oranienstraße, and I'm not sure what drove me to Kreuzburger but I'm glad I visited! Great menu, delicious food, good prices and friendly staff, what more could you want?

Best burger I tried in Berlin. The place was awesome and the variety of burgers is huge. Even for vegetarians, which is my case, you have several options. They don't serve the tables, you have to order and pick it up yourself but it's worth it.

I had a delicious bacon cheeseburger with some special sauce and curly fries. The food was delicious and the two people working there were extremely kind and friendly. Highly recommend!

Staying in Kreuzberg

Neighborhood Profile
Berlin's revolutionary heart and immigrant roots can both be found in Kreuzberg, but this central neighborhood is beginning a new chapter. In the 1950s and 60s, Turkish guest workers settled around Kottbusser Tor, while in the 1980s and 90s, rambunctious squatters and artists gathered to live a carefree life here. An old hospital even became a hotspot of riots between squatters and police. Today you can still find the best kebabs in town and many underground clubs, but a lot has changed as well. The hospital has been transformed into an art center, and increasingly you will find new urban cafés, restaurants and designer shops. Rising housing prices and gentrification threaten the spirit of this area along the Spree River, but the neighborhood’s legacy is upheld by a very engaged community fighting to preserve its rebellious identity.
