We went there for our wedding day anniversary but should have checked beforehand whether the service personnel had time at all to serve us. Due to the proximity to a German ministry it happens occasionally that some officials and their staff hang out there and wait for the pick up call. We were lucky to have some of these folks... More

My fiancé and I visited this restaurant after it was recommended to us by our hotel concierge. It was our first night in Berlin but ended up being the best dining experience of our whole trip. The setting was lovely - a beautiful old building with a cosy but fresh interior. The staff were very professional but not overly friendly.... More

Ate at the Paris-Moskau whilst in Berlin at a conference. The food was really delicious and the service was brilliant. It is a really interesting building with lots of history. Will go back next time I am in this part of the city - superb eatery!

So good, we went twice in one weekend. Excellent, truly delicious meal. Small menu, but everything cooked beautifully. Lovely room full of character - in an old station building on the Paris to Moscow train line. Friendly staff. Perfect!

Best meal I had in Europe :-) better than what I had in Paris (but maybe because I went to Paris tourist-trap restaurants, believing everything in Paris would be awesome haha)! I had the BEST venison of my life! everything was amazing but the venison was the standout! - now my favourite meat from this restaurant but I struggle to... More

I came here on a weekend trip with my wife. Very cosy restaurant in a nice old building very close to the centre of Berlin. Staff were friendly and attentive. Food was very good and the wine too. Tasty and reasonable portions. All very reasonably priced. We had a very nice evening.

I visited the restaurant together with colleauges, and everyone was very satisfied with the visit. We had made a reservation, and when we arrived just one table - ours - was avaliable. The atmosphere was really good, and the staff did a really good job. But the most important thing was of course the food - and the wine. Our... More

Staying in Moabit

Neighborhood Profile
Moabit
You may not realize Moabit is one of the city’s most central neighborhoods when you arrive at Hauptbahnhof (central station). Surrounded by waterways, Moabit is a quiet island protected from the hustle and bustle of Berlin. The crowds that do gather prefer spending their evenings in cozy restaurants over the party venues offered by other districts. With its beautiful parks, old housing and romantic industrial areas, life has traditionally been relaxed and a bit slower here. But the tone may soon be changing. Reasonable housing costs and proximity to city center are attracting more young Berliners and international visitors. This interest is encouraging new bars, cafés and nightclubs, making Moabit a candidate for most up-and-coming neighborhood in the city.
