Walked by on my way to a train, and came back a couple of nights later. Just what I needed, some real homey food, lots of flavor, lots of taste. Service was welcoming, nice wines by the glass. So many great dishes on offer, and the portions are big. Enjoy!

We visit every year as a large party, this year no different, but only had one waiter, which wasn't enough

We stumbled across this restaurant going to our hotel from the station, it was very popular early evening so we gave it ago. We had home made minestrone soup and a pizza which were both excellent, the portions were very large. The staff were welcoming and the bill at the end was reasonable, definitely worth another visit.

We visited without and were very lucky to get a table. The place was really busy and we just struck it lucky with someone leaving a table for 2. We had a really nice grilled vegetable cold starter to share, then a pizza and some ravioli. Both of the main dishes were really good. We just had some beer, with... More

The restaurant interior looks very good and inviting. Unfortunately, the food does not match the image. The portions are very touristic and the food is far from the Italian examples that they are trying to imitate. Skip this one, there are better ones nearby, quite literally.

Savigny Platz without 12 Apostel would be strange. It has, seemingly, been there forever. The food standard is good, pizzas used to be exemplary, but then a lot of poeple do really good thin pizzas now. Prices are above average for what you get and, as a local, I don't really appreciate being handed an English menue first and being... More

Staying in Charlottenburg

Neighborhood Profile
Breathe in Berlin’s royal past while walking through the gardens of beautiful Charlottenburg Palace, which lends its name to this well-heeled neighborhood. Here you'll find some of the oldest homes in the city: upper-class apartment buildings with ornate facades and marble-floored foyers line the cobblestone streets. Stroll by sophisticated restaurants, through little parks, or around Lake Lietzensee. Window shop down Kurfürstendamm, the most renowned high-end shopping street in Berlin, where you can find all the big designer names. In the evening, visit one of the old theaters close by Zoo Station which were nightlife hot spots in the 1920s, or dine in one of the many international restaurants around Savignyplatz before heading to other parts of town for a night out.
