Special mention to the bar man from Donegal Aaron . He went out of his way to make sure we were having a great time. Huge plus is this pub has RTE! So all Gaa games are available . Pints are a reasonable price averaging €4:50. Would recommend it to anyone travelling to berlin ! Murphys is no where near... More

I was looking for a place to get a Guinness in Mitte District and stumbled on this place. They have a pretty good selection of Irish Whiskeys and Guinness. It is a family owned place. I like old looking Pubs so this place had that with lots of wood. Staff is a bit unfriendly. Did not try the food. Still... More

Most Irish pubs are good, this one was brilliant. Staffed entirely by Irish from Belfast, Derry and Dublin it was a real gem to find. The Guinness was excellent and the food served was also first class and in expensive. Good city centre location and if you want a break from standard Berlin fare, drop in here.

Went in for a quick drink and stayed all evening. Good selection of beers and well priced and tasty bar food. Friendly and welcoming.

Went in to watch the burnley game and wasn't expecting the ritz ( I am from burnley after all) but bad beer( both Pilsner and Guinness) and a dirty pub all round means I won't be returning , not cheap 4,90 euro a pint. The Kilkenny pub down the road might be a bit dearer but it's worth it !!!!

Average pub serving Guiness and some ales. If you want to take few beers, it's a good choice for any visitors (you can find there a large scale from workers to white collars.

Absolutely awful meal! Just spent the last few minutes heaving up the disgusting cold salty shepherds pie I bought here! My boyfriend and I came in to watch the football and after receiving two flat cokes and a weird tasting beer we stupidly ordered food, mostly out of necessity as we were flying out that night and didn't have time... Good pub run by Irish group, serves all beers Berliner and strong bow and Guinness. Starter a tap with the bar man which worked out well. Watched the football and the pub was busy with man united fans. Sekt is exceptionally cheap, very good

Staying in Mitte

Neighborhood Profile
The center of Berlin, Mitte is most famous for sights like the Brandenburg Gate, Alexanderplatz, and Museum Island. The central location makes this one of the city's most expensive places to live. It is here the oldest traces of the city can be found, and evidence of some significant transformations, as well. The gangsters that once ruled the impoverished streets between Alexanderplatz and Hackescher Markt have given way to an international crowd pursuing fashionable designer clothes, the newest food trends and frequenting the many craft shops. Graphic designers have taken up residence in what used to be backyard barns and stables. There are still vestiges of the old days, however. The occasional housing complex is a reminder of the neighborhood’s past. And if you look carefully, an old 1920s ball house nestled amongst the art galleries and exhibitions of Auguststrasse can still teach you how to dance the old fashioned way.
