Just come back from a weekend in Berlin with the lads. We called in on Saturday for a quick pint and ended up staying all night. We were welcome into the rear bar where they had a band on with a singer. They let others get up and sing a song, and there was this one lass from Ireland who... More

Went in for live music, found a corner table fairly easily, had some good beers for about 5 E each. Guitar player was nothing special but did the job.

We dropped in here for a pint as we were staying in nearby hotel. The guy with guitar "forced" us to stay here for 3 pints untill he finished famtastic performance! If it is smth what they have every Saturday night - definitely recommended.

A good pint of Guinness and perfectly chilled bottled Heineken .That's all we wanted and that's what we got from a friendly ,efficient barman. enjoyed the atmosphere and would certainly return.

I'll keep this short...... Place has all the trappings of an Irish pub - Right down to the Irish staff! Beer was decent, and they show the football very often - if your in Berlin looking to find a pub that will play your match - These guys probably have it on. Friendly service and chatty - with a warm... More

On any trip to Berlin we always pay this great Irish pub and visit. A nice big pub interior with a well lived in look to the place and a long serving bar, there is also outside seating,it's just one nice pub. We were here on a really hot evening having just been to The Murphy Pub a five minute walk... More

Had the worst pint of my holiday in this place. Generally if you're irish its a good idea to steer clear of irish pubs, his was no exception. The lines had obviously not been cleaned in a while and the beer was horrible.

Special mention to the bar man from Donegal Aaron . He went out of his way to make sure we were having a great time. Huge plus is this pub has RTE! So all Gaa games are available . Pints are a reasonable price averaging €4:50. Would recommend it to anyone travelling to berlin ! Murphys is no where near... More

I was looking for a place to get a Guinness in Mitte District and stumbled on this place. They have a pretty good selection of Irish Whiskeys and Guinness. It is a family owned place. I like old looking Pubs so this place had that with lots of wood. Staff is a bit unfriendly. Did not try the food. Still... More

Most Irish pubs are good, this one was brilliant. Staffed entirely by Irish from Belfast, Derry and Dublin it was a real gem to find. The Guinness was excellent and the food served was also first class and in expensive. Good city centre location and if you want a break from standard Berlin fare, drop in here.

Staying in Mitte

Neighborhood Profile
The center of Berlin, Mitte is most famous for sights like the Brandenburg Gate, Alexanderplatz, and Museum Island. The central location makes this one of the city's most expensive places to live. It is here the oldest traces of the city can be found, and evidence of some significant transformations, as well. The gangsters that once ruled the impoverished streets between Alexanderplatz and Hackescher Markt have given way to an international crowd pursuing fashionable designer clothes, the newest food trends and frequenting the many craft shops. Graphic designers have taken up residence in what used to be backyard barns and stables. There are still vestiges of the old days, however. The occasional housing complex is a reminder of the neighborhood’s past. And if you look carefully, an old 1920s ball house nestled amongst the art galleries and exhibitions of Auguststrasse can still teach you how to dance the old fashioned way.
