Be sure to book ahead, it's almost always full! The restaurant is great, the food is cosy and well done. They have an interesting selection of drinks at the bar so make sure you ask for some Danzig specialties. The owner lady is so friendly and eager to talk.

Visited this Restaurant on a Saturday evening after reading reviews. We didn’t have a reservation but as we were staying close by we took a chance and called in. We stood by the bar waiting to speak to someone and after being made to feel very uncomfortable and told we were in the way and to move, we were eventually... More

Visited this place after seeing it on TA. We chanced our luck on a Saturday night without a booking and were fortunate to get a table... many others were not! The menu, decor and appearance of the staff should not be used to judge the place. Order something that you've never seen or heard of before and enjoy. The staff... More

I love this restaurant. The food is amazing, huge portions of meet dishes finely cooked. A special mention to Ramona, the owner who entertains you with stories about Berlin and Germany.

This is the best place were to eat typical German food in Berlin. There are plenty of dishes to choose from, and I would personally recommend the crispy duck, which was absolutely superb. If you are visiting Berlin you should definitely not miss this place!

Staying in Charlottenburg

Neighborhood Profile
Breathe in Berlin’s royal past while walking through the gardens of beautiful Charlottenburg Palace, which lends its name to this well-heeled neighborhood. Here you'll find some of the oldest homes in the city: upper-class apartment buildings with ornate facades and marble-floored foyers line the cobblestone streets. Stroll by sophisticated restaurants, through little parks, or around Lake Lietzensee. Window shop down Kurfürstendamm, the most renowned high-end shopping street in Berlin, where you can find all the big designer names. In the evening, visit one of the old theaters close by Zoo Station which were nightlife hot spots in the 1920s, or dine in one of the many international restaurants around Savignyplatz before heading to other parts of town for a night out.
