Very nice 4-course meal for 25Euro. A nice place to sit outside on a warm night. Especially enjoyed the appetizers.

I Wen't there with my wife. Every time we visited Berlin we go to this restaurant, and we have recommended the place to all of our friends. We will not Recommend it to anyone again. The service was awful, and we ended up leaving. It's fine that the menu is in german, but the waitor has always been helpful with... More

This great French restaurant has become a must when visiting Berlin. The atmosphere is fantastic. Just like being in Paris with waiters greeting you in French but with the well known German hospitality. The food is simply delicious. You can have half portions if you would like to taste more than just one starter or main course. Or if you... More

This is a charming little french restaurant in Schöneberg. The guys who run this place - one from Berlin and one from Paris - are lovely and so helpful. They source many of their ingredients from specific farms and wineries in France. They are known for their stews (we went twice and tried them all - all great!). Nice decor... More

Visited this restaurant twice now (2015 and 2016), and it was brilliant again. The service was friendly and attentive, and the food delicious and well presented. Will definitely keep returning!

Though your high school French may be pretty rusty, don't be shamed into missing this little jewel in Schoeneberg. This is not a fancy place; it's a place to come when you're hungry and want to feel good. The idea of serving the dishes in small casseroles is unique and practical at once. They look awesome and keep the food... More

I went here with my friend for his birthday along with his husband. The restaurant is simple in style and we received a warm welcome and were shown promptly to our table. The service was good, fun & friendly but very casual in nature, however this somehow adds to the relaxed atmosphere and charm of the place. The food was... More

This restaurant is in a charming neighbourhood and a nice find after enduring not-so-great German food. The waiter (possibly owner?) was funny and pleasant and jokingly refused to speak English - luckily I knew enough French to get by ;) - the food was delicious, the wine was very good, and the ambiance great as well. Very clean bathroom -... More

Boeuf Bougignon!! Try it! Love it! Dream of it! Perfect taste. Better than expected. Totally soft with many fresh herbs are giving a taste experience. Service is great. Very friendly and at the table the time you need them. Small and cosy place, nicely decorated. There will be another visit for sure.

Being going to this place for years now and it's like stepping into a good Parisian restaurant. The staff are charming, the wine is excellent and the menu is very good. It's not cheap, but the food is cooked with love and well presented. If you're hankering for a French onion soup or a creme brulee, this is the spot.

A very original French restaurant, elegant but very affordable with a beautiful terrace, a cosy lounge and non pretentious tasty food served in small cast iron pots.

Staying in Schoneberg

Neighborhood Profile
In 1963, Schöneberg was the center of the political west, inspiring John F. Kennedy to choose this area to famously announce, "Ich bin ein Berliner." Times may have changed, but modern-day Schöneberg still pays tribute to its historical legacies. Once the richest city outside of Berlin proper, the area's affluent past is still visible in ornate housing facades dating back to the Gründerzeit of the 19th century, while residents in fur coats walking their dogs or shopping in high-end KaDeWe continue the tradition with a modern flair. Schöneberg was also once the center of the decadent and burlesque nightlife of the 1920s. It was here that Marlene Dietrich partied with Christopher Isherwood and the first gay bar in Germany was founded. Today, the gay community still revolves around Nollendorfplatz. The overground Ubahn station is even illuminated in rainbow colors, paying tribute to Schöneberg's progressive past.
