Price is okay, food is not tasty in my opinion. I probably expect too much since it is highly rated in many reviews and seems to be very popular. The most famous dishes there are the grilled/roasted meat so I ordered a plate of roasted pork with rice. The skins were not crispy, when it's supposed to be. It tastes... More

Have wanted to try out good friends for a while as good friends (pun intended) had recommended it to me as the best Chinese restaurant in Berlin. I finally got the chance yesterday - it's a reasonably priced and very tasty Cantonese restaurant that is well worth visiting if your close to the Ku-Damm / Kant strasse. The menu contains... More

We came here on a whim after seeing it recommended in our guide book. The menu was very large with lots to choose from. Food was excellent and very reasonably priced. Some form of set menu would have been nice but other than that I would definitely recommend this to a friend!

We read a good review about this restaurant and decided to try it out. We started off with steamed buns filled with pork and mini veg egg rolls. They were served with a very hot red sauce and soy sauce. Excellent ! We then tried the sweet and sour pork, chicken with cashews and celery. We wanted to order another... More

I have been in China many times and know very well the different chinese cuisine. I brought my group (6-8 colleges) to this restaurant to experience some chinese food - by recommendation from the hotel front desk. We had a traditional round table and was sharing a lot of dishes. All over; excellent food, I would say more imperial or... More

It is highly recommended by local Chinese friends, which is deemed to be the best Chinese restaurant in Berlin. However the taste is not that satisfied contra its high price. A little bit disappointed after high expectation.

been there many times - and it is always a blast. We had the peking duck yesterday - which is a starter, actually. Even for me, the big eater: excellent.

Read TA reviews & decided to visit to take a break from German fare. Huge menu, which usually sets off warning bells to me. Often means that, unless you speak Cantonese or are a local, it's pot luck to find the best the restaurant does. Unfortunately, that was the case with us. The good: the Kung po chicken was spicy,... Authentic Cantonese, probably best in Berlin. Always crowded especially in the evenings, reservation recommended. Chef's recommends written on board are usually worth trying, Cantonese grill and hot pots are best here, while Dimsums should be avoided - the reason why I take one star off.

Staying in Charlottenburg

Neighborhood Profile
Breathe in Berlin’s royal past while walking through the gardens of beautiful Charlottenburg Palace, which lends its name to this well-heeled neighborhood. Here you'll find some of the oldest homes in the city: upper-class apartment buildings with ornate facades and marble-floored foyers line the cobblestone streets. Stroll by sophisticated restaurants, through little parks, or around Lake Lietzensee. Window shop down Kurfürstendamm, the most renowned high-end shopping street in Berlin, where you can find all the big designer names. In the evening, visit one of the old theaters close by Zoo Station which were nightlife hot spots in the 1920s, or dine in one of the many international restaurants around Savignyplatz before heading to other parts of town for a night out.
