Strolled in our first day in Berlin for breakfast, as most of the other breakfast places were crowded. Scrambled eggs were good, however try to avoid french and italian breakfast. A bit overpriced

This was the first place we stopped at after arriving in Berlin and getting off at Gorlitzer Bhf near our apartment. The waitress was friendly and the waffles I ordered were delicious however due to the size of the waffles I could have done with more maple syrup as they were very dry by the end. My girlfriend had the... More

On the positive side you have a broad selection of breakfast choices: German, Italian, French, English and so on and the food was OK and served quite fast too (which is good if you're hungry!). The latte machiatto was very nice too. But the service was somewhat reserved and that affected the overall experience.

We were in Berlin for a week and had breakfast here a few times, for we stayed close. Set breakfast plates are amazing and beautiful (Italian/Swiss/Spanish etc) and the crepe breakfast was a perfect way to start my birthday. A little more expensive than some other places we visited, but well worth it.

I used to love this place when I first came to Berlin as a student about 10 years ago. It used to be chillaxed, with a mixed alternative crowd and tasty while fairly priced brunch options. Now it turned into a touristy, wealthy hipster, 40-year old moms and their spoiled noisy kids haven. Of course such places usually make smaller... More

we used to go to this bar in berlin a lot it used to be a cool place, but since some time it has changed for the worst...high prices ( you can have better coffee at the hilton hotel and at the same price....) and very rude waitress who kicked out some poor man who dared to enter the place... More

We've waited about 40 minutes to have our breakfast and the place wasńt crowdy at all. There was an egg missing in one of the plates (in comparison with the description of the breakfast on the menu)... Very disappointing place!

The only downside of this place is the time it takes to be served on a sunday morning. Otherwise, it's perfect. The bruch plates are huge and really tasty, we had the continental and the italian and they were delicious. The staff is friendly enough but really busy.

Great atmosphere and a decent list of cocktails. Very chilled out a nice staff. A great place for some pre-drinks before a bigger night out.

English breakfest - meisterhaft. My favorite place at Kreuzberg. Perfect coffe, abundant, and late (till 5 p.m.!) breakfest menu. Great cook. Little expensive, but totally worth every cent.

Staying in Kreuzberg

Neighborhood Profile
Berlin's revolutionary heart and immigrant roots can both be found in Kreuzberg, but this central neighborhood is beginning a new chapter. In the 1950s and 60s, Turkish guest workers settled around Kottbusser Tor, while in the 1980s and 90s, rambunctious squatters and artists gathered to live a carefree life here. An old hospital even became a hotspot of riots between squatters and police. Today you can still find the best kebabs in town and many underground clubs, but a lot has changed as well. The hospital has been transformed into an art center, and increasingly you will find new urban cafés, restaurants and designer shops. Rising housing prices and gentrification threaten the spirit of this area along the Spree River, but the neighborhood’s legacy is upheld by a very engaged community fighting to preserve its rebellious identity.
