Food was not special but fine, price was very high, staff was friendly. We suspected the 7,50 eur bottle of water had been opened before which was an unpleasant surprise. We did suspect this but didn't check with the staff.

You have to book a table as the restaurant is always full. We were very pleased with the meals and the good service that we received. The waitress spoke good English and she had a great sense of humour. This is a fine dining restaurant.

Highly recommendable with lovely food and ambiance. Everything we ordered was absolutely delicious and even though we were full from the starter and main course, we tried the tiramisu based on the recommendation of our waiter. We were not disappointed and this was one of the best ones we have ever had. The service was excellent with the right level... More

this restaurant was highly recommended by the hotel we were staying in a very nice part of Berlin. the restaurant itself is located right on the commercial but stylish Friedrich str. We walked there from our hotel for the first time without reservation. We were told that they were fully booked for the next 3 days. Finally we managed to... More

A nice up scale Italian restaurant. I didn't like that the menu was a bit brief without classic options. It was good but, just that.

I realize reviews depend so on the experience & taste of the reviewer. Please know I have lived in Italy, traveled the world & have now spent a week in the area this restaurant is located. The exterior of the building is lovely, but we found the interior atmosphere to be cold - especially for dinner. We were seated right... More

Staying in Mitte

Neighborhood Profile
The center of Berlin, Mitte is most famous for sights like the Brandenburg Gate, Alexanderplatz, and Museum Island. The central location makes this one of the city's most expensive places to live. It is here the oldest traces of the city can be found, and evidence of some significant transformations, as well. The gangsters that once ruled the impoverished streets between Alexanderplatz and Hackescher Markt have given way to an international crowd pursuing fashionable designer clothes, the newest food trends and frequenting the many craft shops. Graphic designers have taken up residence in what used to be backyard barns and stables. There are still vestiges of the old days, however. The occasional housing complex is a reminder of the neighborhood’s past. And if you look carefully, an old 1920s ball house nestled amongst the art galleries and exhibitions of Auguststrasse can still teach you how to dance the old fashioned way.
