Sophisticated high quality fine Italian dining. So, expect delicious meals with small portions and very high prices, not only for Berlin. The place's new interior design took away its old flair and replaced it with the most generic 5star hotel space character. For the right meeting, this is your place. You will remember the experience of being in Bocca di... More

Excellent Italian food. The pasta bologonase was very light and well prepared. The restaurant has a great atmosphere and is in a great location. Our server was very knowledgeable and the wine list was extensive.

This is a buzzy Italian restaurant with great service and located in a beautifully decorated space. The staff were incredibly helpful & do an excellent job. ( our waiter spoke excellent English) For anyone with allergy requirements there's a separate menu which guides you through what you can and can't t have ( this is very helpful for us allergy... Great food, great service, great ambiance, superb wine list. Genuinely italian with no added folklore, but a nice contemporary elegance. Worth every euro and a welcome alternative to your local German specialties restaurant when in Berlin. Warmly recommended, no hesitation.

We went to this restaurant twice (on the recommendation of our hotel) and were not disappointed. The service was impeccable and the food excellent. The wine list was the most amazing I have seen (including a 13000 euro bottle Romanee-Conti and a '98 Penfold's Grange at 295 euros (cheaper than in Australia). My steak was one of the best I... I was told by a few friends of mine that this restaurant is supposed to be one of the best Italian restaurants in Berlin... How disappointing... The menu sounds very interesting but after we had waited 30 minutes for our starters and it wasn't even busy m,the taste of the food was so disappointing and our server didn't care much... More

Going down with the cable car from Colomina Refugis, I asked what is the best hotel in Espot. The cable car man said he doesn't know Espot, but he can recommend in Braseria. So I changed plans and came to a 3 star hotel in. 5 star class. Family owned best experience of good food, good wine and BEST. Hospitality.... More

Food was not special but fine, price was very high, staff was friendly. We suspected the 7,50 eur bottle of water had been opened before which was an unpleasant surprise. We did suspect this but didn't check with the staff.

You have to book a table as the restaurant is always full. We were very pleased with the meals and the good service that we received. The waitress spoke good English and she had a great sense of humour. This is a fine dining restaurant.

Thank Anthony H

Staying in Mitte

Neighborhood Profile
The center of Berlin, Mitte is most famous for sights like the Brandenburg Gate, Alexanderplatz, and Museum Island. The central location makes this one of the city's most expensive places to live. It is here the oldest traces of the city can be found, and evidence of some significant transformations, as well. The gangsters that once ruled the impoverished streets between Alexanderplatz and Hackescher Markt have given way to an international crowd pursuing fashionable designer clothes, the newest food trends and frequenting the many craft shops. Graphic designers have taken up residence in what used to be backyard barns and stables. There are still vestiges of the old days, however. The occasional housing complex is a reminder of the neighborhood’s past. And if you look carefully, an old 1920s ball house nestled amongst the art galleries and exhibitions of Auguststrasse can still teach you how to dance the old fashioned way.
