Lovely surrounds and welcoming professional staff. The food was by no means cheap but then you're obviously in love it surrounding so you expect to pay...however I had the duck which was over cooked and the dish somehow lacked that wow factor. Very helpful with wine choices as well

I was looking for an Italian place to eat during my trip in Berlin and I ended up finding this one. Food was ok, nothing really special (I'm Italian), and I paid a lot.. not the best place to recommend

We ate dinner here during a city break. We did not book and were lucky to get a table as walk-ins (the Maitre de turned away lots of people after us as they were full up). The service was good, the food excellent and the wine even better (although they told us they did not serve by the glass and... More

Excellent food and wine. Great service . We get a comfortable table for three and enjoyed food and wine. Third vist to this restaurant always satisfactory. We had to wait few minutes before being sitted but were well treated while waiting.

After an expensive and appalling experience at the Grill Royal the previous night (see review), our second dinner in Berlin was, to our great relief, outstanding. Bocca di Bacco is one of a group of restaurants of the same name, first established in Hell’s Kitchen, New York. It’s well thought of there, and is now flourishing in Berlin. It is... More

I had lunch with friends at Bocca di Banco. I was really impressed by the quality and the perfect balance of some of the dishes: I had a great burrata and some very good ravioli. I am Italian and I must admit that this is probably one of the best restaurant I have been at over the last years. Really... More

I have just returned from Berlin after spending 5 days there with my fiance and parents. We booked Bocca Di Bacco through our hotel after walking past the restaurant in the day and liking the look of it. The evening didn't quite go to plan. We arrived and ordered our drinks, which included a bottle of red wine that was... More

We enjoyed excellent food and wine here, served with attentive charm and professionalism. The calves liver was a standout main course, as was the sliced beef. Pasta was very good and the fish soup delivered too. The white wine recommendation was greatly appreciated. It is not cheap, but you get what you pay for.

Decided on Bocca di Bacco while shopping on Friedrichstraße. The restaurant looked incredibly inviting, especially on a cool January evening. The staff were very friendly and quickly seated us. The quality of food was superb, and the atmosphere even better. Be sure to save room for dessert!

Great location, amazing and very helpful staff, excellent food. The place is easy to access. Clients are mostly BCBG. A second time I dine there and consistent great food and service.

Thank Amadou D

Staying in Mitte

Neighborhood Profile
The center of Berlin, Mitte is most famous for sights like the Brandenburg Gate, Alexanderplatz, and Museum Island. The central location makes this one of the city's most expensive places to live. It is here the oldest traces of the city can be found, and evidence of some significant transformations, as well. The gangsters that once ruled the impoverished streets between Alexanderplatz and Hackescher Markt have given way to an international crowd pursuing fashionable designer clothes, the newest food trends and frequenting the many craft shops. Graphic designers have taken up residence in what used to be backyard barns and stables. There are still vestiges of the old days, however. The occasional housing complex is a reminder of the neighborhood’s past. And if you look carefully, an old 1920s ball house nestled amongst the art galleries and exhibitions of Auguststrasse can still teach you how to dance the old fashioned way.
