My family enjoyed this place very much. A plate of dumplings is really filling. I came here with as a group of 4 and ordered 2 plates of dumplings and 2 soup dumplings. We took the 1.5 plates of dumplings togo because it was too much. If coming as a group of 4, I suggest ordering 1 plate of dumplings and 1-2 bowls of soup dumplings if you wanted to try both.

Food // Dumplings are straightout delicious, i especially enjoyed the chickpea and the eggplant one. Next time I‘m back, I‘ll try the one with potato. Btw, all is organic, sustainable and veggie / vegan - but it tastes so good, also meatlovers wont regret coming here.
Restaurant // nice interieur, you can see how much love is in this place.
Staff // nice waiter, always had a smile for me and was friendly.
Price // absolutely ok for what great quality you get.
Will be back next time!

A simple setup with only a few tables in the store and a few outside on a busy street. This restaurant may do more takeout business than dine-in. I have no idea if this is an adaptation to the Covid-19 situation. Anyway they offer nothing but momo, a Tibetan name for Chinese dumplings with a lot of twists. The flavors are mostly taken from western cuisines, the ingredients are strictly vegetarian or vegan. The product delivered are light, healthy and fun. It is not as filling as Chinese dumplings, but they seem to do the trick of providing energy and nutrition. Additionally. It is affordable.
My recommendations: as long as you know what you’re getting is creative health food, go with the adventure!

As I have stated before, I have eaten in thousands of restaurants all over England & Wales, Ireland, Spain and now Berlin, Germany, in numerous differing cuisines, my father was a chef and I worked in catering as well. This served to provide invaluable food experience for the mind and palate, so when I say something is pretentious, trust me, it is!
I had a certain excitement for this place, I knew little about it but my partner had researched this place and it had garnered a lot of positive reviews, so one lazy afternoon we decided to give it a go. Well, first off I noticed the clientele were pretty much made up of young Millennials; my heart tends to sink when I see this as this means, "inexperienced customers" who seem to just love everything overpriced and sold to on the principal of overhyped novelty!
And this was very much the case; we opted for 36 dumplings in Vegan style which seemed the easiest choice, with a drink this bumped up the bill to over €25 so we were hoping this was going to be something good. Unfortunately being British by birth not by identity, I have often seen dumplings as those lovely stodgy dough balls in stews as an English past time dish, and I used to love them! However, since the rise of Asian Fusion from the last 20 years, these dumplings were those tiny Asian style things served often as a starter in Oriental Outlets.
When I realised this my heart sank even further. You could get a choice of half of them steamed and the other half pan fried. When they arrived with three meagre dips of Soy Sauce (let's face it, Soy Sauce is merely liquid salt), Lemon-Mint which was actually quite nice just not enough of it and Spicy Tomato that was so overpowering it eliminated the original flavour of the dumplings. The dumplings themselves were undercooked on both the steam and pan-fried. In fact, the pan fried dumplings were only fried on one side, is this some new weirdo Millennial idea?! The mind boggles!
The fillings were, well, OK at best but the Spicy Seitan was so spicy as was the tomato dip, that it again over powered the flavour of everything else as now my mouth was on fire. I did read another review that questioned as to what the fuss was all about and I had to agree, if you have the mentality of a nine year old and the palate of a teenager who enjoy over priced, undercooked, glorified stodge, then this place is for you, for the more discerning and experienced foodies amongst us, then save your money and go elsewhere.

Dear Robin,
first of all thanks for eating at our dumpling place. Your personal impressions at the time of your visit seem to have had an overly negative touch. I see that there are some personal preferences and certain imaginations about what you expected that have not corresponded with what you experienced. Fair enough. Nevertheless there are some aspects in your review that can not be uncommented by us as there are some of them at least questionable.
From our point of view it is quite jugdemental to stereotype all our customers as being 'inexperienced' and putting them in a naive type of people corner. Be aware that this is your perception in the time of your visit which might have been maybe an hour or so. We have indeed a very versatile and mixed crowd. Multinationals, from young to mature people that seem to be rather aware than dull. From our point of view your strong oppinion does leave little room for tolerance in that matter. It where not the people you wanted to see. They where not mature and experienced enough from your perspective.
We are known for our universal ecofriendly approach in terms of our concept. Using highest qualitiy organic, non GMO, preservative free ingredients only for example. This of course stands in stark contrast to cheap prices and massive amounts of food. This aspect seems to have been crucial for you.
As you are pointing out you are a person that has a certain expertise in food. Looking from that perspective: there still seem to be some black spots in your knowledge. E.g. going on about the frying style that you call prejorative a'weirdo Millennial idea' leaves the impression that you are rather clueless in regards of what 'pan-fried dumplings' means. You never came across gyoza? They are fried on one side and then steamed with a bit of water and a lit on. That's very common and has nothing to do Millenials in any way.
Being nostagic to British dumplings is absolutely fine. If you honestly expected these here: please look at the hundreds of pictures you find online being shot by our customers to get an idea and please check our menu online if you are uncertain about what you'd expect prior to your visit. Then you easily can figure out that these are mostly Asian influenced dumplings looking at the fillings and the way we precare them. Which also means that there might be some spices involved. Spicyness is percieved very differently - for some its too strong, for others too weak. Knowing yourself that you seem to have a rather weak stomach: feel free to ask our friendly staff about what they'd recomment to avoid disappointment.
Best wishes,
Martin

Love the vegan and organic approach. The dumplings.. hmm. They look like Asian dumplings but stuffing feels more Italian..? European? Not sure. A very affordable meal too. Would go back but not the best dumplings I have tasted.

Birad choice of various vegan dumplings. The food was great, even if I had hopped for a little more taste. If you enjoy your meal, you can take some and prepare them fresh at home!

The dumplings are extremely good and super well cooked. On top of that, they are all vegan. A good option for someone who is vegan or is taking someone vegan to have a special dinner. Can't wait to go back!

Yum! Dumplings! Need I say more? Got the dumping soup (bc it was a chilly day) with the aubergine and the spicy seitan dumplings - wasnt quite sure how it would all go together. Fantastic combo. Very friendly service too.

This is a good option for a quick and easy plus mostly healthy meal. We had dumplings and the radish roots. It was all great!

Very rude service. Making jokes of what we said in front of us. Didn’t apologize sincerely and stared at us. Don’t recommend at all.
정말 서비스 최악입니다. 고객에 대한 농담을 면전에 대고 합니다. 항의해도 제대로 사과하지도 않습니다. 비추비추. 맛도 없어요ㅎ

For me there was nothing special about this place:
- the dumplings are super small. The fillings are good but the dough is very rustic.
- the sprouts salad is simply terrible, with a very bitter flavor.
- worst of all, the waiter refused to give me a glass of water because “they don’t do that here”. That is something that I never heard anywhere in Berlin!
Overall quite a disappointment and I won’t be back.

We ordered the 24 dumplings. 12 steamed, 12 pan fried, and with 3 dipping sauces. They took longer to make than I had expected. I wasn't the biggest fan of the fillings, I thought they could have been seasoned a little bit better, but that's just an opinion. I think for the price, this is a pretty solid option. Split between 2 people, it isn't the most filling, but for how cheap it is, it's fine.
