Friendly and welcoming staff. Food that was incredible! All vegan and delicious. A busy, yet chilled, atmosphere inside, making it a fantastic dining experience

We went here with the family (full of vegan sceptics, of course) and ended up being super satisfied! First we ordered a couple of the home-brewed beers - the dark one is now especially recommended. Then for the entrées, we chose from the summer as well as the daily menu and had soy goulash with chickpea rolls and a coriander-olive-almond-paste,... More

We had a wonderful dinner at Vaust. Everything in the menu is plant-based and the food is absolutely delicious.

I visited here in mid-June The restaurant seems to be a little bit out of town but the service is very friendly. We sat outside and it was busy. The menu is limited to a few choices but I easily found things I wanted. I wasn't overly impressed with the food. My starter - a soup - was nice but... More

Vaust is a lovely space with good ambiance. Very helpful friendly staff. Outstanding beers they brew themselves and good home-baked bread. Unfortunately our food wasn't good. I am vegetarian (lacto-ovo) so thought I would enjoy it but unfortunately the food, which is all vegan, simply wasn't great. If you're in the area, the beer alone is worth a visit but... More

We went here in December as I like to go to veggy places if there is one when in a foreign country. This place was vegan (which I was for 7 years). The owner was a lovely guy and we enjoyed the atmosphere and also the home brewed beers. We both had the same meal which to be fair we... More

My vegeterian partner found this interesting restaurant and forced me to have a vigen evening. To my surprise, the have there own brewary that produced excellent beer. The food was well prepared, atmosphere is romantic but come on --- at the end of the day it is vegan food.

A very special restaurant. It's a traditional room with lots of wood, lit by candles and feels warm and welcoming. The service was excellent with a very helpful host who talked us through the menu. We all chose different options and it was all excellent. It's traditional German with an Italian twist. I can't wait to return.

We had a hearty 'special' with great flavors paired with the managers beer. This is a cozy and wonderful dining venue. Unlike another upscale vegan spot in Berlin we were served plenty of food

We were there for a dinner on a sunny Friday evening. All tables outside were occupied or reserved. Inside most of the six tables were also full or reserved. Finally we got a table at the window which was quite nice.We would recommend to book a table in advance. The interior Design is ok but nothing special. Does not let... More

Staying in Charlottenburg

Neighborhood Profile
Charlottenburg
Breathe in Berlin’s royal past while walking through the gardens of beautiful Charlottenburg Palace, which lends its name to this well-heeled neighborhood. Here you'll find some of the oldest homes in the city: upper-class apartment buildings with ornate facades and marble-floored foyers line the cobblestone streets. Stroll by sophisticated restaurants, through little parks, or around Lake Lietzensee. Window shop down Kurfürstendamm, the most renowned high-end shopping street in Berlin, where you can find all the big designer names. In the evening, visit one of the old theaters close by Zoo Station which were nightlife hot spots in the 1920s, or dine in one of the many international restaurants around Savignyplatz before heading to other parts of town for a night out.
