Had brunch in the sun at the outdoor seating. This is a local eatery with a bit slow service. Food ok at reasonable price but I would not rate this a 4 star restaurant in any way. Bring cash as they do not take credit card. Had scrambled eggs with ham, mushrooms, coffee, juice and toast. The toast, scrambled eggs,... More

This is the kind of place to go for breakfast closeby your hotel or for a lunch if you don't have so big expectations. I had a wienerschnitzel which was perfectly OK, but nothing special. It took a bit of time to get the food, too long time for being in the lunch hour and for food that was on... More

My wife and I and two young adult daughters went to Eterna the first time on the recommendation of the owner of the apartment we rented for the week. We had an excellent meal and felt very welcome by the warm and helpful host/server. The food and hospitality was so good and is such a great value that we went... More

A good Italian restaurant with a good range of food. Service is good and the area is very quiet. Very good for a medium priced meal. No complaints or issues with our visit

This restaurant's food is great! A plus is that it is open on Sundays when most restaurants and shops aren't. All the menu items are very reasonably priced, the food the staff are very friendly and attentive but not intrusive. A large part of the menu is in German but the staff were more than happy to explain the menu... More

A handy for the hotels around Los Angeles Platz. Extensive menu and reasonable portions, but maybe the menu was just too large to be able to provide a quality meal across the board. Having said that it was great value and the one waiter coped admirably. It is open on a Sunday!

We had lunch here one day, and evening meal the next. Food was excellent and reasonably priced. Staff were very friendly, and although the menus were only in German, they were more than happy to explain anything on the menu that we didn't understand.

Had our last breakfast in Berlin there, I had freshly made pancakes, my partner the fried eggs. Everything was fresh, the croissants were warm and the restaurant is nicely decorated. My partner went there several nights just for a drink and the staff were all very friendly. I would certainly visit again.

Staying in Schoneberg

Neighborhood Profile
In 1963, Schöneberg was the center of the political west, inspiring John F. Kennedy to choose this area to famously announce, "Ich bin ein Berliner." Times may have changed, but modern-day Schöneberg still pays tribute to its historical legacies. Once the richest city outside of Berlin proper, the area's affluent past is still visible in ornate housing facades dating back to the Gründerzeit of the 19th century, while residents in fur coats walking their dogs or shopping in high-end KaDeWe continue the tradition with a modern flair. Schöneberg was also once the center of the decadent and burlesque nightlife of the 1920s. It was here that Marlene Dietrich partied with Christopher Isherwood and the first gay bar in Germany was founded. Today, the gay community still revolves around Nollendorfplatz. The overground Ubahn station is even illuminated in rainbow colors, paying tribute to Schöneberg's progressive past.
