This was my second time coming here. I had a white chocolate cherry cake which was huge and kept me going for hours. Very tasty and very reasonably priced too. The white hot chocolate (also a reasonable price) was maybe a small amount but comes with lots of chocolate buttons which makes up for it. The atmosphere is very chilled and the staff are friendly. Only downside- it can get busy around lunchtime so sometimes you may not be able to find a seat.

It seems like it's just a bakery but we had some very nice breakfast here. The barista makes lovely coffees and the pastries were fresh and delicious. Friendly staff and fast service. We would definitely go back.

This is a busy little bakery with limited seating but do not let the crowd put you off coming to this little gem. My friends and I managed to squeeze onto table and proceeded to have the beat breakfast... in fact the best meal of our trip. Whether we chose sweet or savory no one on our table was disappointed. The sandwiches were tasty and breads well baked. The brownie was moist and chewy with a sweetness that complimented the espresso. The highlight though was the rolls, they were soft without being soggy and baked to perfection. The Not Berliner was lovely and is a great twist on the classic fried doughnut. The white chocolate and raspberry roll, balanced the sweetness of the white chocolate with the tartness of the fresh raspberry baked into the roll. The apple cinnamon roll was just delightful. I wish Zeit fur Brot would come to Leipzig I would visit everyday!

Came here for breakfast on a weekend and WOW was it crowded. We waited on line for a good half hour before getting into the restaurant. But it was worth it :) Get the original cinnamon bun - its to die for!! They also have an area in the back where you can watch the buns being made!

We were looking for a place closeby to have breakfast at. We decided to try Zeit für Brot and were happy with our choice. We had a maple walnut cinnamon bun and a white chocolate raspberry bun and both are definitely worth a try. The coffee was great too and the atmosphere was busy but relaxed.

Hello! This morning at around 12:00 there was an incident of aggression on the part of your employee, about which I want to inform you. We approached your cafe, at the entrance in front of the steps there was a metal sheet, as if for people with disabilities to enter. my daughter began to climb it, but your worker, who was carrying buns on a cart, ran up to her immediately from behind and roughly pushed her to the side. It turns out that he put the sheet down for himself, but it was absolutely not obvious. my daughter turned to me and asked in another language what right did he have to push her? the worker did not understand what it was about, but understood the tone, jumped up to my daughter with red eyes, a very aggressive look, clenched his fists and shouted in her face “whats your problem? shut up.” I would like to get a comment on what it was, and why do aggressive people suffering from behavior disorder, who consider it possible to attack 14-year-old teenagers, work in your cafe?

Simply the best cinnamon rolls we have tried. They have different options of these cinnamon rolls, like normal, with apple, dark chocolate, etc. they also have different kind of sweets and also breads. We really recommend this place if you visit Berlin

Delicious fresh sandwiches, coffee (and smoothie) and pastry after a long morning walking about.
Our pastry was developed by the bakery apprentices - pumpkin and spices - and was wonderful.
It’s a great, fresh-looking bakery café, where you can see the craftspeople at work in the kitchen.

Came here on a Saturday morning and the line was out the door. They have seating inside and outside, and you can also take your order to go. We got an iced coffee, cappuccino, chocolate bun, and marzipan cherry bun. We managed to get a table inside. The buns were super delicious and definitely worth the wait outside in the heat!

Good coffee.Lovely breads and pastries. We came here twice on our long weekend visit. Have sampled coffees, a sandwich on lovely thin and seeded bread, and several pastries, all of which were very good.

What an amazing place! Called in for morning coffee and pastries...this place does THE best cinnamon buns I have ever had!! Sampled the chocolate twists and Raisin Knot and the were equally as good. Thanks Zeit fur Brot we will be back and will highly recommend!

Really big, really sweet pastries. Also really good if you're looking to take in some sugar. They also have nice sandwiches and coffee, even though wouldn't have such high expectations for the latter. It's hard to find good speciality coffee in Berlin.

I visited Berlin in Nov 22 and had been recommended Zeit fur Brot. Unfortunately, I did not manage to get there until the day before I left. If I had gone sooner, I would have visited more than once! The cappuccino was great and the cake was amazing too. There was a lot of variety and I struggled to pick just one. If I ever go back to Berlin I will definitely be making a stop here.

We went to this place twice because it was so good. Excellent rolls, great iced coffees (although the iced chai wasn’t great). My favs were the lemon ginger roll, cardamom roll, and the choco babba. Small place with only 4 tables so most people do take away.

Superb! Totally recommend.
The place is excellent! Stuff is super helpful and kind ! The food is amazing. A great place to get breakfast and good quality coffee. It's a must visit when in Berlin.
