Went here for dinner and had to wait very long until we got served. Most of the waiters were unfriendly, didn't bring our food at the same time and didn't give back the change in the end when we paid the bill. The food was decent but the service really ruined the night.

I enjoyed this place except for its seating. It was pressed with diners and one has to share a long table with others reminding me of service in college restaurants. Other than that the sushi/sashimi/ngiri was real fresh and the price was really affordable.

This is one of a handful of branches of the always-busy Ishin restaurants. As I am not big into sushi but rather cooked Japanese food, I can only comment on the latter. After having been to the restaurant a dozen times or so I can testify the consistently good food. The free green tea served with the meal underscores the... More

Clean restaurant, good salmon sashimi, nice decoration of foods. If you look for an authentic Japanese so this is not a good choice, but the foods here is ok with reasonable price, not very crowded. I love Gari (sour sweet ginger) and usually ask for more, but in this restaurant dont need to do that because they put a big... More

We go to Ishin regularly. The sushi is fresh and they offer gluten free soy sauce on demand, so definitely a good choice for cealiacs.

This restaurant is part of a Japanese chain of low budget restaurants. It is conveniently located and good value but has a clinical, cafeteria-like atmosphere and uninterested staff. Everything here feels halfhearted and loveless. The food is fine but the entire experience just feels like a drag.

Price reasonable, fresh fish, clean, friendly staff, great quality! One of my friend lived in Japan and per my friend's opinion, their sushi has a good quality. It's not pricy, the portion is great!

They serve things at Ishin that you don't get at your run-of-the-mill Japanese restaurants. The sashimi is of excellent quality. But be forewarned, you don't get to have your own table with a personal-space bubble around it. You sit at communal tables with strangers; when you want more hot water for your green tea, you get up and get it... More

I really enjoy Japanese food, so when our friends said we were going to a great place I got quite excited. Sushi and Nigiri were OK and at a price not to complain about, but anything else looked and tasted not as it could have done. There is something of a canteen atmosphere, but with little humour.

First of all, the reason we went to the restaurant in the first place was the nigiri menu advertised on the website, which is supposed to be available from 17:00 onwards. At 20:00 we were told it was too late, and furthermore some of the less common nigiri were in other more standard menus, so false advertising + staff in... More
