Berlin is generally blessed with many great restaurants in international cuisines - and Friedrichshain is in particular - but "No Hablo Espanol" is definitly among the most outstanding places. It's practically a take away only as there are only a couple of barstools to spend the waiting time on. But who cares when the Burritos served here are simply the... More

After nearly two years of consistently visiting Friedrichshain, I finally tried this place. I can say that I was pleasantly surprised with the taste and size (a bit too big actually) of the burrito.

The owner is very unfriendly and the food was not good as i expect, there's a lot of restaurants where you can eat a good burrito and find a nice owner, like Santa Maria(great restaurant/pub)or burrito baby(restaurant).

This little burrito place offers delicious food that is made right in front of you. Very tiny it offers only a few seats inside and even fewer outside, but it's well worth the visit. Haven't had better burritos for a long time!

"No hablo espanol" greets with a sign outside their tiny store that says "Ay caramba, Huuuuuunger" (which means hungryyyyyyyy in German. If you understand this sign to be a promise to tackle your hunger, they definitely fulfill their promise. They serve tasty burritos and quesadillas that are not traditionally Mexican but still taste great and most certainly leave you with... More

This small place has some delicious Buritos. The guy who makes em is a nice fellow and it's cool to see him do his thing. There's a great variety in vegetarian/ non-vegetarian buritos and all for a great price.

OMG! After living in Europe for four years, I was beginning to doubt decent Mexican food existed. This place proved me wrong! The menu is pretty diverse. The Adobo chicken is super tender, as is the pulled pork. Yes. Pulled pork. In Berlin! The woman working was incredibly friendly. She played rock, paper, scissors with us, even though though it... When I was living in America I kinda got used to my occasional Chipotle Burrito and when I came bavk to Germany I had this weird craving every once in a while and then I found this place. Really small you might even miss it walking by but those are usually the best places in Berlin. ;-) When I ordered... More

Grab and go. It's a small place but if you like to have terrific food, you can eat your burrito in a standing position and enjoy it!

Staying in Friedrichshain

Neighborhood Profile
When you arrive at Warschauer Strasse in the heart of the district, you have found one of Berlin’s party hotspots. At night in Friedrichshain, the energy is palpable and the streets of this old worker's quarter are full of street musicians. On one hand, you may find a bar with international crowds, electronic music, long lines and panoramic views - on the other, an outside venue by old train yards featuring decrepit buildings and live alternative music. No matter your taste, the best way to end a night out in Friedrichshain is sitting by the Spree River at the East side gallery, the longest and best preserved piece of the Berlin Wall, watching the sun rise over the beautiful Oberbaum Bridge.
