We visited the place for dinner. The atmosphere in general was nice. The food in general was average and nothing special to recommend. The service was slow and pricing was fair. There are better alternatives in the area.

Lovely Ambience, I would go here again for the Mackerel Bento Box and Japanese Beer! Perfect to sit out on a summer afternoon!

I am actually not a big sushi fan, but even I enjoyed the food because they have delicious sides (I can only recommend the sweet potato chips). My boyfriend told me that his sushi was also really good. The portions are big and the prices are completely okay for good quality sushi in Berlin.

In an oasis of authentic Asian cuisine Hashi stands out as a genuine treat. From the well balanced menu between yakis and sushi/sashimi, fast service and a little crushed izakiya - well worth a visit

We went here because my wife would like to eat japainese and this restaurant was next to our hotel. Good choice. The quality Of food was quiet good and the prices were in line.

We came by on a busy Thursday night and had to wait about 20 min to get a table. But it was worth it. The food is really good, I recommend the avocado salad it was delicious.

Food was good, we ordered the beef yakitori udon and curry rice, grilled octopus, grilled Saba and tempura yam fries. The three tapas were delicious! Very filling for two ppl, very tasty as well.. But we've been to other izakayas where dishes are more refined. Our waitress wasn't friendly and not attentive. For the price we have to pay for the... More

I had a quick lunch here. I was´t really disappointed but also not very satisfied. My udon soup was ok but rather bland. I found my green tea rather expensive. One of the waitresses was really nice, the other one unfriendly.

Staying in Mitte

Neighborhood Profile
The center of Berlin, Mitte is most famous for sights like the Brandenburg Gate, Alexanderplatz, and Museum Island. The central location makes this one of the city's most expensive places to live. It is here the oldest traces of the city can be found, and evidence of some significant transformations, as well. The gangsters that once ruled the impoverished streets between Alexanderplatz and Hackescher Markt have given way to an international crowd pursuing fashionable designer clothes, the newest food trends and frequenting the many craft shops. Graphic designers have taken up residence in what used to be backyard barns and stables. There are still vestiges of the old days, however. The occasional housing complex is a reminder of the neighborhood’s past. And if you look carefully, an old 1920s ball house nestled amongst the art galleries and exhibitions of Auguststrasse can still teach you how to dance the old fashioned way.
