Nice atmosphere! It was full so we had to eat outside. Waitress was good; gave us a blanket and explained the menu. Price is ok but wifi is not working properly.

We chose this restaurant as it was close to our hotel but discovered a little treasure. The interior is very cute and traditional, the portion are big and the food is very fresh. Service was a little slow but they were quite busy so it's understandable.

Booked a table last Sunday after reading trip advisor. Very small but cosy and friendly. Breakfast for 2 was a lovely selection of fruit, cheese and cold meats. The only disappointment were the rolls, looked like they were baked from frozen. You need to reserve a table as it is very popular.

Looking at the location you would not think that the breakfast would be up to scratch. How wrong was I. Service was excellent the breakfast very very good indeed. We took the breakfast plate for 2 people and there was more than enough on the plate, orange juice included. The Cafe is located in a side street just off the... More

Sunday morning, after partying in Berlin you want everything except a loudly place and a lot of people. This place was very sweet, the service very nice and the food delicious! Not a lot of things to order (eggs, muesli, cheese, etc.) but the quality is great! It was calm and cosy, not expensive at all and perfect for a... More

I had lunch here with three friends and I was very impressed. I had the chestnut and bacon soup which was fantastic. The carrot ginger apple and orange juice was lovely as well, as was the piece of cake I had. I can't remember the name of that though but it was the sort of sponge cake with Apple in.

We breakfasted here twice during our visit and were impressed. The breakfast for 2 is worth having for a hearty start to the day and although slightly over facing at least included some fresh fruit ( we rarely spotted much in the way of fruit and vegetables during our visit to Berlin!!). Service was good but you might want to... More

Staying in Charlottenburg

Neighborhood Profile
Breathe in Berlin’s royal past while walking through the gardens of beautiful Charlottenburg Palace, which lends its name to this well-heeled neighborhood. Here you'll find some of the oldest homes in the city: upper-class apartment buildings with ornate facades and marble-floored foyers line the cobblestone streets. Stroll by sophisticated restaurants, through little parks, or around Lake Lietzensee. Window shop down Kurfürstendamm, the most renowned high-end shopping street in Berlin, where you can find all the big designer names. In the evening, visit one of the old theaters close by Zoo Station which were nightlife hot spots in the 1920s, or dine in one of the many international restaurants around Savignyplatz before heading to other parts of town for a night out.
